    I throw a tiny light stick in my hammock when I take star pictures and it makes the hammock glow. Its a cool affect with the milky way as a backdrop. With the moon out, you can do this and you will get just a few stars with the mountains being illuminated in the back. Try different color light sticks.

    Bassenthwaite lake...... But when the Cumbrians pronounce it ...it sounds like thwit. Thwaite It comes from the Danish language meaning swathe or a a long, wide strip of land. : an area of grass or corn Where they felled the trees to plant crops Danes sort of kept to the west coats and VIKINGS sacked the east coast You didn't miss much top of Skiddaw is pretty uninspiring lol Good video though good spot to

    You camp in the Scottish highlands and don’t bring a windscreen?! Lmao thus using so much extra fuel to heat a meal that it defeats the purpose of a light weight cook kit. Genius!👍🤓

  • @SpiguyverBackpacking1

    @SpiguyverBackpacking1

    I had plenty of fuel, ended up giving away a half full canister when I left the country. Plus with the small pack I had space was at a premium, as you can see from my jacket on the outside. Plus this was in England, not Scotland!

    Lol obviously someone doesn’t know what cold weather does to a GoPro battery either... 🤓 again skills and knowledge outweigh the principle of just because you buy the latest gadgets and the best gear means very little if you don’t have a clue to use it

  • @SpiguyverBackpacking1

    @SpiguyverBackpacking1

    Right, I pretty much know nothing about anything. This is not a problem with the cold, but whatever, maybe you could come teach me how to use all my gear, and impart the knowledge and skills you have on all life events, right?
