sound is amazing and even with the wind blowing hard the sound is fantastic amazing. Most sounds with wind and sum mics you cant hear anything rather with you and Adam i hear u 2 laughing i love the mic you have clear and beautiful .Love your videos friend.

Great video Dan, if you hold the meal pouch on its side and cut open the side ,you get a shallower pouch with a larger top opening.

Thanks for the video. Beautiful part of the world. I have seen people roll the new packets along the long side to fit in the cooker and also cut the pack along the long side to eat it. Apparently you don’t need a long handled spoon. Cheers.

Hello Dan , Watching you two climbing up made me go for my Inhaler 😂 , and putting the tent up was hilarious to watch , brought back memories , I do miss getting up on the tops , the Air is so much cleaner up there ! .

When it's windy, it's best to attach one of the guy ropes to your rucksack with a carabiner until it's fastened down properly 👍

Wow, the audio was 100% better than ever, even with all the wind! Fantastic upgrade of equipment!

New Go Pro, excellent. Audio and stability, top notch. I like it when you go camping with a mate. Alone, but not alone. Probably, in my head, safety in numbers and all that. Not that there was anything scary, just curious sheep. Tent looks very spacious. I think TOGR (The Outdoor Gear Review) has one of those wind things you mentioned. That was a real work out, hiking to the top of that fell, with a backpack on. Right, I'll get back to my comfy armchair. LOL Take care. 😊

Ah Routenbeck! My brother lives there. We always go when it's snowy the sledging is fab! Just across Bassenthwaite is Skidaw I'm sure you could see it from where you were. Maybe you could go there next time, instead of pitching up and sitting around in the tents saying oh it's to early to go to sleep like you were bored, maybe the long drive tired you out? Just my thoughts it isn't cheap and a real treat to drive for 2 and a half hours and not take full advantage. That old couple out for a stroll looked like they were going to come over for a nosey! 😂 Anyway Dan, Wendyball is on now Thanks

audio great yoy going to take off like mary poppins putting the flysheet on it can be a nightmare puttin up in wind we lost our awening in the wind over the roof of our van nice cutlery setsheep like sausages i went camping to whales years ago while i was frying me breaky a sheep put his head through the fence and pinched a banger out me frying pan lol

Dan love your vids but here's my view on those ready to eat meals...or more main portions.. Get a Billy pot ..turf them out into it add water...make a soup...your getting a meal plus water . So a bit of hydration as well. . I ve done this with army more...

I can empathize with you walking up that hill. Just been to Dunnottar Castle in Scotland. A brilliant place to visit. Walking back out was very hard work for me. That pride of sheep looked seriously menacing😁. Great scenery and video.

Hi Dan audio sounded fine mate good camp and yeah change of packet sizes in those meals is a bit of a pain as you say much prefer the old size myself defo easier to eat out of take care and have a good week mate 👍👌❤️

Was there less food in the bigger pack of Wayfayrer meals, or were the new packs the same weight- Are they the same price as they were? Couldn't see the weights properly. it looked like 300grams.

Very impresed with the new Camera and " dead Cat " , expected it to fail a little when you gave the panorama views over the lake and mountains , Be Well my Friend , see you on the next one ! .🙂

If ever the sheep give you any trouble just shout “ mint sauce “ and they will run away so fast lol

Dan, you really grew a set with this one buddy! I know that you usually camp right outside your back door because you scare easy but I see that you have a buddy with you so I understand now why you grew a set.

What would you do if you got a text , Beware of new breed of meat eating sheep that have taken over the area , would be great to have one of those clear sport huts to sit in and enjoy the beautiful scenery, I think the hills of UK are so beautiful

Nice video.. What make is the knife fork spoon and peeler and where did you get it? like the look of it. Turn the bag on its side and cut it open so more like a bowl than a deep bag… just a thought.

Why don’t you prepared your food before you go and put them in foil packs, it’s must be much cheaper, foil packs are recyclable too. What’s cheap tin of beans plus 3 rashes of bacon and couple of sausages?
