but don't you have to wonder about the person who called to tell them it had been 24 hours.? How do you know it's been 24 hours? does that mean you couldn't be bothered to take care of the dog? ( The caller that is, not you personally)

Our society has become so desensitized that they don't notice homeless people needing help, and they don't notice a dog laying on the street. I guess someone noticed her because they called in; couldn't they have brought her into their house, where she could have drank some water, had some food, and could be in air conditioning??? Mankind makes me SO sad, then you see another Hope For Paws video, watch Eldad with/without help, and faith in mankind is restored. Thank you HFP, for everything you do. God Bless and Much Love 😊💕🐶🌈

That is sickening that not only is a sweet tiny dog homeless in the first place but then no one helps her for so long. What planet is this? I've stopped multiple times here to rescue dogs. Usually they had gotten loose and we found their owners. So sad to see this in this country. Dogs should be lived and cared for.

I cannot tell you how many of these dog rescue videos I have watched, but this one really got me. Lady reminded very much of a dog my parents adopted after she was found as a stray. She looked just like Lady. This dog, Molly, would not really come near any man and snuck up behind women, when she was first adopted. But, wow, what a change in a few months. She followed Dad everywhere, and the attention she gave and wanted from me was sometimes overwhelming. Lady and Molly both showed how when you give a dog some love, it will come back to you. Unfortunately, we lost Molly a few years ago to cancer, but she had about a decade during which she got a lot of love.

Lady so beautiful you are. Can’t imagine your being by the side of the road for 24 hours. No one helped. So many are stupid idiots. So unaware of your needs. An amazing rehab. Now enjoying a comfy home ❤️💕🙏🌹

Adalia Wright I use that because Eldad uses cheeseburgers to tempt animals into being rescued. He asks for five dollar donations to pay for more cheeseburgers. He didn’t need one for Lady because she was so docile, but I bet he had one handy; I could hear the bag rustling.

Tear jerker. Lifting that little helpless animal onto the rescue pad was an act of mercy. God love you.

24 hours without any help or even being noticed... Humanity, which way are you heading? Please wake up, please!!! Wake up before it is too late, wake up before the rest of compasion and warmth fades away. Wake up before we turn into selfish and emotionless entities, wake up before one day one of us will need help and will not be noticed for 24hours laying near a stinking dumpster and hoping for someone to ease the pain... I had a dog, she looked exactly like this angel right here, her name was also Lady. I don’t live in Los Angeles but we had to put my Lady down because she could not eat or drink and she was also hungry and thirsty. She just kept throwing it up. I said goodbye to her and my parents took her to the vet. I know she is in a better place now and glad this little girl right here is feeling better! God bless!

Pickle Rick ..I think dog was hit by car and owners didn’t want to pay for the vet so they just left her. Sick. It’s all worth it for the dog just to get away from her horrible original owner.

@@joesurfer9754 Sweet suggestions but sadly these fluffs are often dumped by the side of the road, in desolate desserts or wooded areas to fend for themselves. Owners don't want them often when they are found and attempts are made to reunite them. It is sad but a harsh truth. I see it often in Facebook dog rescue posts. The area would be plastered with posters and dog rescues and shelters would be alerted as well as law enforcement. I think this dog was just dumped and got hit by a car which is common for frightened abandoned pups. :(

I'm one of those people who loves animals, and if I had been there, I would"ve done something to help this pup right away. It's unbelievable the callousness and indifference of people walking past this dog in a built up area for 24 hours, and nobody gave a damn about it.
