The LAPD and Officers Gray and Nichols deserve big props for their assistance on this. It is heartwarming to see people come together to rescue animals in danger.

What a smart doggie to stay put and not run out into traffic. She is such a sweetheart. Great job LAPD, the lady who called it in, the rescuers and the vets. Well done everyone!

Any legitimate rescue services that focuses on the animals best interest or with good intentions are the best way to spend your money on. I totally agree that the Angelic people in Hope For Paws organization are the perfect example for that. I hope one day they have the people and resource to go nationwide or even international. They are the best people for this type of work. I hope they are passing their knowledge to the future generation etc.

These are the stories about police officers that should be highlighted in the media.

Absolutely amazing. One of my favorite videos so far. Simply due to the fact of the danger involved. Not for the team necessarily, but for her. I can’t believe she made it 24+ hours on the side of that fast lane on a full-fledged highway without being killed. Truly a miracle some might say. God bless you and the work that you all do. I can explain one reason for the Police being willing to help so quickly. PD was a hazard to navigation. If someone saw her and tried to stop, there is a high likelihood of a major collision. If she had moved into the live lane, there would almost certainly be a major collision. Still, kudos and thanks to the Officers for stepping up and making sure PD and Eldad got out of there safely.

Exactly! We lived in a little house in the forest once, and sadly it is very normal for people to dump animals in forests. We had a cat who had a little cat door, that she could go in and out of, and one day when we came into our living room, there were 3 kittens. They had watched our cat go inside and followed. They were dumped in the forest in the middle of winter without their mom, and searched for a warm place to be. We called our local animal rescue, who came to get them and found them 3 amazing homes. If you see animals in need, don’t hesitate to help them and don’t just stand by. They can’t take care of themselves and they need your help.

Shout out to the LAPD everyone, let them know their cool.

no way the dog ran into the middle of the highway. most humans are garbage, waste of space and waste of time. just oxygen thieves. this doesnt count for people like shown in this video. the rescuer, the cops anyone that helped. the character of a man can be measured by how he treats those that can do nothing for him!

As Eldad says, "This was amazing." I got tears at what the LAPD did. What a great video. This has to be my favorite Hope 4 Paws video.

I am thankful that I didn't see this happen, because I wouldn't be able to drive by. I would have to do something immediately, otherwise it would eat away at me. Even if I was on my way to a job interview, or to catch a flight. I couldn't leave the dog, without knowing it is out of immediate danger and is getting help.

I agree that it is repulsive to know so many individuals drove by and did zero. I wonder what goes on inside their heads. Do they play a mind trick and selectively ignore/deny the situation exists. At days end that dog would be in my bedroom on a nice comfortable thick warm bed and good food and water and lots of love until he was ok and I started reaching out to people for adoption. People. Good people just don’t do this.

Her face when you put her in the car had so much relief as if knowing she would be all right 🥰 Having seen other videos of kitties being saved on the highways I knew you would succeed with the help of the police👏💕 Seeing PD’s happy and joyful antics with her loving home, you again made this possible, bless you Eldad💖

I live in Philadelphia Mississippi, and we don't have rescues services, only catch and kill shelters😡 It's so sad 😞 So I just feed them if I see them. God Bless you All that Help!🙏🏽❤🙏🏽

Eldad, just want to say you are truly an angel. Who would risk his life on a freeway to save an injured dog. No one except you. PD is so lucky. She probably got hit by a car with the broken leg, which is the worst thing that can happen to a dog. She would have died sooner or later with all those fast moving cars and must have been nervous as hell. Judging from her hair she's been abandoned for a long time. Bless you. You are truly amazing with a good heart and all you do are true honest work to save poor animals. Truly amazing person.

@@abbyodd9142 I don't think its about responsibility I really do think it's a evilness in this scenario. Why not sell the dog, give the dog to a shelter, or (this is not the best solution) even leave the dog in a neighborhood where people might be able to take the dog in? Why dump the dog in the middle of a dangerous highway?

That looks like a Maltese, one of the sweetest dogs on the planet. Can believe anyone would ditch something this cute.

Had to be a Monster who neglected her so horribly badly before they threw out on the freeway. God bless the woman who called for help too. Wonder how many people saw her there and didn't even bother to call anybody

This has me choking back tears.. I am successful so far but damn... such a sweet soul. You can see the change in the dogs face before and after the hair was shaved. Imagine how good she felt! Love this story. She also reminds of my grandma's dog from when I was a kid.

My heart was throbbing at such a scary and dangerous rescue on a highway with cars fleeting away. Thank you Eldad for bringing relief to the dog, the informant and the viewers.

LAPD! Big shout out to you guys for helping safe this precious little girl. She is so adorable and was heartbreaking to see her in the condition. I can only imagine how terrified she would have been the entire time 😭 seeing her transform was so beautiful

Charles Schulz knew whereof he spoke. If you notice, over the years Snoopy changed shape. That is because there was a long series of black and white beagles to inspire him. I have had 4 beagles over the years, and two of them cast shadows with the same form as Snoopy. The body language and behaviours were accurate, including lying on the ridge of the dog house.

"If anybody could do something it would be you." Our family is so happy to be monthly contributors to HFP and we are very proud of Eldad and his team. And finally thank you to the LAPD for their assist on this rescue.

@@xXGwennexXx At first when i saw the dog after he got out the car i was thinking is that the dog or a bag of rubbish or something, only for like a second before he got closer but still if your driving only get a quick glance at the dog, it would still be very easy to miss

Oh my God, this brings tears to my eyes. Poor little dog. God bless this MAN who rescued him. I have a cat who is 3 years old, and was given to me when I lost my husband to cancer. He was 6 weeks old when he was given to me. I love this little guy so much. I take care of him like he is my Little prince. I cannot imagine how frightened this little dog was lying there , hurt, and all these cars driving so fast around him GOD BLESS HIM .

A whole lotta love went into saving this sweet baby. So glad she got another chance. We ALL need another chance.

With all the negative press that police officers receive these days, this serves as a reminder to us all that 99.9 percent of officers are truly caring and simply put good people. They put themselves in harm's way every single day to protect and serve our communities. And not just humans, but also are furry and feathered friends. They do this work, just like Eldad, Loretta and the HFP crew, because they want to help. They certainly do not do it for the money. May all of the HFP crew, our nations public servants, and all the dedicated rescuers out their have happy, safe and rewarding New Year.

Thank you so much @StevenDoh! I am so happy you get to see your donation at work! I have so many more videos coming up and the struggle has been with getting the video updates filmed (people are nervous due to COVID). We are working through them and training the fosters and adopting families on filming the updates for us (that's how we got the updates for this video). Many more are coming in 2021!

I love how PD immediately showed interest in her surroundings once she was safe in the car. Like she'd already given up all hope on the freeway and now she knew she would be OK! It's amazing and heartbreaking at the same time... Thank you Eldad, thank you for all you and HfP do!!
