I admit, story is awesome and gameplay is very interesting. But this particular game have some awful bugs, mostly because it is nearly impossible to launch on newer operating systems. Had to tinker with it two evenings until managed to launch it under Windows 10 20H2 without crashing. Didn't succeeded under Linux/Proton.

@@bbb462cid This actually started in Windows 8 which now is 8 years old. Windows 10 is around for 5 years. And L.A. Noire is still selling. Someone in support should been already noticed game launch problems on these systems. It suspiciously look like incorrectly used file/registry permissions or because game tries to write something in non-existing directory.

@@bbb462cid kinda did pioneer at least this era and style in regards to media (although Mafia 2 did come out a year before and Mad Men was very popular at this time so the trend of early 2010s being littered with pre-Vietnam War 20th century nostalgia and aesthetic was already on it's way but LA Noire definitely added to that piqued interest)

Great remastered quality but I want a sequel for this game sooooooo bad!!

@@baneyy2k591 That doesn't necessarily take a sequel off the table. Rockstar Games own the L.A. Noire IP and I've heard that the remaster was done to see if they could raise interest in a sequel. Personally, I want a prequel that shows more of Cole Phelps' time at war. Rockstar dipped into westerns with the Red Dead series, school with Bully, and 1940's crime with this. A war game would be a new challenge for them.

When I played I didn't ever stop by the station, so when the mission wrapped up I was very confused. They were congratulating Phelps on outing the diplomat as a predator, but he never even spoke to him or found the notebook.

This game was ahead of it's time. I hope they make another one
