Hello guys, when you had problem with this sensor CCP maybe you had a problem with a spark plug at the same time? Since about 10 hours (total mileage 43h - KTM EXC300 TPI MY2020) I have a problem with a spark plug, it looks like too rich mixture. The spark plug is black and a little wet, when I clean it up, bike runs and start normally - I replaced them about 3 times, because I thought that is broken, but cleaning helped, spark plug works fine - NGK BR7ES (the owner manual say that my spark plug can be used interchangeably with a NGK ZGR7GI-13G). I've got an additional idle screw mode in my bike if this an importatnt information. Thanks for any tips ;)

I've had this issue from 0 hours and now with 105 hours I replaced both the crankcase and ambient air pressure sensors and it runs better than new.

Maybe the sensors from the factory are just faulty or really bad QA? Crazy...

Did you also had failed spark plugs all the time and you need to replace them

@@eric89q I start and ride for 10 min with no high rpm until both radiator are hand warm.

Had the same prob, the 1/4 throttle splutter is the crankcase sensor, swapped it runs perfect

Did you take the oil tank off or just bend the tray to get the screw out?

@@ShiftGearsMoto I pulled the two oil tank mounting bolts out. Then the three tray mounting screws. And pulled the tray away from the tank to get to the sensor. I didn't have to mess with the oil pump.

I just loosened the two front tray bolts and was able to get to the screw. Didn't need to touch the tank.

Picking up a ‘21 this week and it seems ppl get perfect machine or one with issues. What’s the process you follow to allow it to warm up?

My 2020 250XC TPI is doing this EXACT same thing. Runs like CRAP even after warm. Was your issue the CCP sensor??

Swap out the CCP sensor with the bike’s ambient pressure sensor. They are the same part. If the bike runs correctly, it’s a faulty sensor.

Works on all TPI bikes.

Multi meter and temp reading...or do it like the German hand books reads,"buy ktm ride until problem arises then to to ktm repair facilities and get repair estimate papers. Then buy another ktm" ride that bike until it needs service return to repair facility get orginal bike back and estimate for second bike service....repeat. i do it with my yard equipment.

@@ShiftGearsMoto so I just swapped my ambient air temp sensor and the crankcase pressure sensor and went for a ride and I had no real difference. On the 2021 bike they are the same sensor, same part number. I still have sputtering from 1/4 throttle up just under half throttle thru 2nd and 3rd gear then it hits the power band and pulls good and smooth. Hopefully you have better luck than I did.

Did you try cleaning the metal fitting? Try a new spark plug as well. Both sensors are the same on the 2020 too.

Was this definitely a sensor issue?

At 21 hours on my 2020 Husqvarna TX300i my bike is running exactly the same. Sputtering and bogging first have of the throttle twist in every gear not wanting to accelerate with full power. Another feedback video would be much appreciated. Check Motosport.com for the part. Part # 55641075000

The sensor came back in stock at rocky mt yesterday. I ordered one and should have it installed this week. Might put in a fresh spark plug too.
