She is completely right about the media focusing on distractions especially when they are not talking about the massive teacher shortage that’s happening across the country in both blue, red, purple states largely due to the fact teachers are being under paid and under appreciated. Has nothing to do with whether anyone ‘thinks’ IVM works or not; it is an extremely safe off-label drug prescribed to billions in the world. It is a private medical decision between you and your doctor. The worst it could do it nothing, the best it could do is keep folks out of the hospital; if we are all masking because it ‘might’ do some good, then what is the difference with IVM? Why not apply the pre-cautionary principle to safe off label drugs?

I applaud Breaking Points for having Joe's back during all this drama. I don't agree with Joe 100 percent on his vaccine stance and I though the planet of the apes comment was abhorrent. Getting that out of the way, I've been listening to JRE since it's conception on Justin.tv and Ustream. The amount of beneficial info I have gotten from the podcast is immense. From workout advice to diet to archaeology to science there is so much I've learned from JRE. I think whichever guest is on people should not just take their word for it and research and get multiple point of views on said subject. After listening to the podcast for this many years religiously I can tell you one thing, Joe comes off as a genuine kind person who is definitely not racist. I believe his adopted daughter is half black. Anyways I know a lot of people disagree with my sentiment but if we keep silencing people we are going down a dangerous path. I've had problems with guests like Sam Harris, Douglas Murray and other Muslim critics being a Pakistani Muslim immigrant. But I still listen to see other point of views so I can create arguments against theirs. Anyway I know Joe will be fine but I'm glad to see people have his back because he has platformed a lot of great people.

Thank you! That is the point, to hear other and different sides. Because though you may not always agree sometimes you will and change an old idea and realizes there's a better one out there. As for the planet of the apes JOKE... He IS a comedian. Comedy is off color alot of the time. And as a white male I've heard the joke in different takes. Just as others races have heard jokes of whites. But your comment was written and said very well and is the purpose of the podcast now it has transformed into a beacon of discussion and debate for us all to take in, learn, question, and maybe see our old ideas are incorrect. Or maybe just to laugh.

The two of you are doing very important work with articulating the bigger picture of “the game” to the wider audience. Indeed, not just “panem et circenses" but active democracy sabotage by anti-politics. I.e., diverting the publics attention from the big picture and real issues. Conditioning simple dichotomic (triggered, amygdala-driven) reactions of "thumb up" or "thumb down" - an active role with a false sense of control that feels meaningful. (I.e., mass-creation of useful idiots.) That has always been the prerequisite for every great illusionary (aversion) trick performed on a population. This “cultural war” is just the modern form of “divide et impera” (and an other form of the mushroom management model). It's really a war designed to erode shared sense-making. Greetings from across the pond

@@jewulo I like Novara Media but they don't have BP's particularity of two people from two very different political families who still manage to work together by capitalizing on where they have similar takes and accepting that they differ elsewhere. As a Yank I don't always get the British political weeds so their posts can seem too long and arcane, but I appreciate their general viewpoint and dedication to broadcasting left. Edit: And then there's Russell Brand who takes things well beyond politics but referring constantly to the actual politics going on, and that, all around the world, weaving together and exposing the whys and the portents.

He has said his heroes are Muhammad Ali and Marvin Hagler. He has toured with Dave Chapelle and Kevin Hart. One of his best episodes is with Dr Cornel West. He cried on his show after Patrice O'Neal died. His Daughter is black. He is not racist. That Planet of the Apes clip everyone cites is a comment that was made when he is clearly super baked and saying he was in a foreign place, then catches himself and saying "wait, that sounds racist"...Then goes on how much fun he had watching the movie with crowd he was with...it's ridiculous. Alex Jones made that clip and spread it in 2019. They were fighting because Joe was criticizing him. People who hate Alex Jones are using his gotcha hitjob video . He had took the episode down years ago because he hated that he misspoke. People are just wanting to make him a racist. This bullshit gotcha clipping is so bad faith and is dishonest gaslighting. He isn't a racist and there is way more evidence proving he isn't than he is.

If you've seen the clip every single instance was a split second with Zero context As much as I disagree with a lot of his politics, Slavoj Zizek has a good take on this kind of thing.... He basically says the ability to joke about race and poke fun at other groups is a nice thing to have In society cuz it makes groups closer in a way..... Don't think there's scientific backing to that, but as a Slav who has dealt with anti Russian sentiment I totally agree... Granted, Joe really shouldn't be using the hard ER and should really practice ending in an A lmao

Krystal - your "Radars" are one of the reasons I watch nearly every episode of Breaking Points. Not because we have the same views; but, because we don't have the same views. Thank you for speaking your mind and challenging my views to point of helping me see different perspectives, solidifying my views, and making me reevaluate how I feel about a certain topic. I agree with you on 99% of the content of this radar. I have a quick question about your comparision between the Left censoring JRE and the Right censoring CRT. Do you think it is the same thing...equally? Is it the same for me to listen to the JRE podcast on my own time by my own choice - vs - having to attend a mandatory CRT training at work or my kids getting taught foundational concepts of CRT at below college level public education? I agree that the elite and powerful use these wedge issues to distract, disorient, and divide us. I didn't find your JRE and CRT as a 1 to 1 example. Either way carry on and keep up the good work. Wishing both you and Saagar continued success with life and work.

The more I see what's happening with CRT and "woke" indoctrination, the more I think it is the corporate elites promoting it specifically because they know it divides people and they want us divided. Ibrahim Kendi is a true believer, but WHY has he been elevated? Who is promoting him as an "authoritative voice"? When otherwise he would just be a "nobody" with ideas no one takes seriously besides the most confused fringe radicals? It is the same way the right has "batsh*t crazy" ideas that I feel like are only used to blackmail me into voting for corporate establishment democrats. The parties are playing "good cop bad cop" with the American people.
