It amazes me that America has devolved to the point where people are not even capable of entertaining an idea they don't agree with and even worse, tries to get the person banned for just having the conversation. I STAND with Joe Rogan.

Yes, so why not take a hit off that Clorox bottle? Rogan's kitchen sink prescriptions are equivalent to yelling "Fire!" in a crowded theater, and those listeners who follow his advice can attribute their short futures to their blind allegiance. @@winstonwins1096 Irony? What irony? No. Words need to make sense when they’re put together though. Too many people say too many things these days that indicate they they’re not actually thinking, just spitting out words they’ve heard put together that amount to either nonsense or worse like this comment, the opposite of what they actually mean. If you’re going to communicate it’s first necessary to think through what you intend to say. “I know what you meant to say.” doesn’t cut it in writing. I’m a huge fan of Joe Rogan. In the last two weeks he’s interviewed Snoop Dogg, three different doctors with medical licenses and the female wrestler. Whoever is trying to counsel him or whatever forces are behind it aren’t in keeping with the spirit of the United States Constitution or freedom of the press. I’m fully vaccinated I don’t mind hearing alternative opinions. If Joe Rogan has a guest on who thinks jumping off bridges is terrific I’m still not going to do it. It’s ridiculous to think people hurt themselves or others based on watching a podcast. Also Neil Young is a notorious homophobe who spread misinformation about aids. The only problem with this approach is that Amazon Web Services pretty much own all of the hosting sites. So, as you saw with Parler, they can just eliminate the server and his stuff is off the air. They just need to say they are doing it in the name of "combating misinformation". Since Amazon--a competitor--basically owns the entire Internet, it's going to be a challenge to start a platform. Plus Google will wipe him off their search engine. You'd see a large push from major corporate giants who would join together to stomp him out if he went his own way, just like Parler.

I wonder how the investors feel about him devaluing their investment, if he even can?” So now, wow! A whole new light. I love Neil Young. No one not named Lennon or McCartney has been a bigger musical influence for me. From Buffalo Springfield up to today. And he does a lot of righteous stuff (e.g. FarmAid). I don’t want him pushing censorship efforts. I really hope he was pushed into this and backs off. Fortunately, I own all my Neil Young records / CDs. Streaming means nothing to me …

The lack of awareness is astounding. In general, there are people who are "rule followers" who will never question what they're told if an "authority" figure tells them to do something. On the flip, there's people who not only will question why you're telling them to do something, but will do the opposite strictly out of spite. Whether or not it behooves them to do it. The whole process doesn't work well. Catch more bee's with honey than vinegar.
