Klein Insulated Interchangeable Screwdriver System 8-in-1 First Look
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
The new Klein Insulated Screwdriver system includes the lightweight insulated comfort-grip handle with five insulated insert driver bits. This 8-in-1 driver features an assortment of slotted, square, and Phillips bits. The handle uses a twist lock with spring-load eject. The length is not adjustable, but we like the overall design.

I've had one of these for about six months and I can say it's a very handy tool, even as a guy who prefers single-use screwdrivers.
Great tool review
I bought this set and returned it. Using it in a real working environment they were not very friendly. When driving screws and you get your finger too low and onto that release collar the bit ejects out and into the electrical panel you are working in. Then you have to fish it out of the wiring of the panel. Not a fun task. If the collar pulled back maybe instead of rotating then I believe this would be a great tool. Nothing against Klein. They make fantastic tools. I have a whole tool bag of Klein. But this one needs to go back to the drawing board. That happens sometimes.

What is weird is that their other bit-holding screwdrivers used to work exactly as you described. My only complaint with that one was that sitting in a tool holder on your ladder would often eject the bit.
Like the extra length slotted and phillips bits that are single ended, to augment the standard length double ended bits. I wish it offered a Xeno driver as well. Many sets do not for some odd reason. I had to add one separately to my Wiha set.
Great video! It is necessary to prepare this kind of insulated manual screwdriver. Not long ago, I bought this kind of insulated screwdriver of the renhotecic brand. During normal use, it is very safe. Everyone can prepare one if needed.
Are the shafts insulated ? I noticed they are metal
Great Video! Audio is low
They need pozis for the UK man
Is this made in USA?

That's what I want to know. Not all Klein tools are made in the USA, but that is an important factor for me. If it's American made, then I'll go with the Klein product. If not, then I need to comparison shop with Wera and Wiha.
so i wont get electrocuted if I use these?

You can be electrocuted in many ways.
Kind of a deceptive use of 'in-1' there, don't you think? Not that I expect better from Klein. More like an 8-in-6, or in practice, an 8-in-5. Seems super dumb to just leave two of them not double-ended.

I was thinking the same thing. If they made something like the Wiha Slimeline one. I would jump on it

if you look carefully, all the bits are the same length to fit in the pouch; however the single end bits have different recesses for locking in. The double end bits are effectively shorter than the single end bits.
I would like to see them add 1/4”,5/16”,3/8” but drivers. The lock/release mechanism seems cheap

My concern with the mechanism would be accidentally ejecting the shaft while it's in a hot screw. That goes for pretty much any multi-bit insulated tool.

@@dukey2832 I returned my set the first time I used it because of that. You get your finger on the release collar and turn the driver and the bit ejects out and into the panel. Then you have to fish that bit out of a hot panel full of wire.
They ruined this by not making them friction fit.
I wouldn’t buy .
