Jack Black’s performance was amazing in this movie
Can’t believe this movie came out in 2005. One of the longest but one of the best movies I’ve seen growing up. This is before iron man too

1:40 I love how Kong has that intense death stare with Jack. As if he’s saying “You…now you’re gonna get it!”
Can you imagine if Carl Denham brought other animals besides Kong, back to New York with him? The whole city would be in chaos.

That why they needed Ann and jack to bring king Kong outside for east transport. If they stupid bother enough trying to get the others which the weight alone they would of sink and lack of anymore of the sleeping bottle.

I cried just because of the love between them. Ann wouldn't have survived the island without Kong, and that adds to her heartbreak. As soon as he sensed she was near, the fight just left him, and he became gentle. Is it weird that I want a love like that?

Don’t be upset. Would you cry if they tried to rescue one of those worms or lizards from the jungle? They’re just animals. And animals are there for either our food, amusement or money. Or a combination of those. We have evolved to dominate this world and all that lives on it. It’s just nature.

@@dentheman1797a worm is not the same as a gorilla. Do you know how much dna we share with gorillas? The audience feels bad for Kong because of how human he is. No animal or insect should be tortured, ever

The bright side is, that Carl will have to pay for all the damage King Kong caused in the city. After all, bringing that giant gorilla to the city was his idea and he is very much responsible for keeping Kong under control which he couldn't. It's possible that he'll be going broke and wind up being poor and homeless in the end.
We need King Kong at the premiere of every Hollywood movie!

In this version and also the one from -76 with Jeff Bridges and Jessica Lange ”Kongs bride ” develops some kind of feelings and sympathy for him while Fay Wray in the -33 version just screams her head off in every scene with Kong😊

I prefer the original, stop motion, Kong (1933) with Willis O'Brien's effects. This Kong is violent, but inhuman. His Kong, though violent, is understandable; they wrenched him out of his world, where he was king, and threw him into a cold, mechanized world where he was an alien, a monster. And the movements and expressions of the puppet conveyed that angst, that isolation, that sadness even. And in portraying Kong in this way, the creators of the 1933 film, I think, sought to make a comment on the alienation of humans in an industrialized world.
