Seeing the Gorillas tip the bus for cover no hesitation and push it forward gave me goosebumps pretty sure that's when everyone started routing for the Apes.
One of the few movies that made cheer for the "other side" and not the humans.

Well in Dawn you start rooting for the humans again seeing as how most of them are genuinely trying to make peace with the apes. Also, in most of the original movies you cheer for humans too

To be fair aside from Koba the apes aren't really bad guys. It wasn't their fault that the virus that made them intelligent was lethal to humans. And all they wanted was to be free and live their own life away from humans. Only Koba wanted war.

The Reboot is By Far my FAVORITE Movie franchise! Its alot to choose from but Planet of the apes Story is SO Damn good 🦍🦧

That Mary moment was it for me, even as a kid(idk why this was and still is my favorite movie, even as a kid) . Dude you crashed in a airplane, in a deserted island for years, and then still worry about your friend. DUDE! The empathy this film inspires is the reason why I love it so much.

lol many animals stronger than humans. humans are the apex predator because we're smart, organized and use tools, not because of muscles. these apes don't know how to make guns or vehicles they'd lose pretty bad once the order to kill was given.
