Edward Norton was adamant that his face was not used in the movie and that his name not appear in the credits. Allegedly, Norton was upset when his name was added to the credits for the video release. I don’t remember exactly why he wanted to stay under his he radar, but, I do remember his reason making total sense 🤷‍♂️

"Remember that howsoever you are played, or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone. Even those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that 'virtue was not convenient at the time.' This will not suffice." I'm not a religious man but these are some pretty powerful words of self-accountability. There will always be those more powerful than you and sometimes those people in authority may ask or flat out tell you to do something you know to be wrong. "I was just following orders" is never a defense.

Re the siege of Jerusalem in the First Crusade: "Atrocities committed against the inhabitants of cities taken by storm after a siege were normal in ancient and medieval warfare by both Christians and Muslims. The crusaders had already done so at Antioch, and Fatimids had done so themselves at Taormina, at Rometta, and at Tyre. However, it is speculated that the massacre of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, both Muslims and Jews, may have exceeded even these standards." The participants were not legendary, they were pathetic, cowardly, and lacked respect for their faith, since they intentionally slaughtered noncombatants (women and children). In modern day, they'd be called terrorists by the very definition of the word. As Christians, let's be sure to appropriately spread awareness and have shame towards the participants of such a sacrilegious endeavor in the name of our faith.

@@HarrDarr - thanks for your inquiry. Of course, many crusaders are well known to this day. However, as Christians, the word "legendary" doesn't align with our historical or religious understanding of these figures. "Infamous" or "notorious" is more appropriate. Genghis Khan, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin - these men are not described as "legendary" by Christians. Let the soul of any person who has committed indiscriminate mass murder of innocents be commended to God. However, let our conversations about them be devoid of reverence, in accordance with our faith and the teachings of Jesus. Here are some of those teachings, pulled from the Holy Bible. It might help to read the full verses for context, I've added the references for good measure. Deuteronomy 19:10: "That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the Lord God giveth thee" Deuteronomy 27:25: "Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person" Psalm 10:8: "In the secret places doeth he murder the innocent" Psalm 106:38: "And shed innocent blood, even blood of their sons and of their daughters,/; and polluted the land with blood" Have a great day and God bless you.
