Given that Bjorn's mother in history was Aslaug, not Lagetha, the show does lose points. It was very well acted, but the wardrobe and historical accuracy was severely lacking.

"I've loved you more than I have loved any other". The love for your mom is the most love you'll have for someone aside from your own child.

It’s such an emotionally attached and truest statement. I believe anyone who has lost a pair of loved ones (father,mother/grandfather/grandmother. Etc.) would wish them to reunite and watch them do so even for a fraction of a second to see the emotions. I cried. Amazing, heartfelt writing.

When Bjorn wishes at his parents reunion that’s sad but when says you are already a legend but to me you will always be my mother man that hits hard he’s just a son who loved his mother at this moment not the fierce Viking warlord we’ve seen

This whole scene was incredible! It's such a sad moment but the music choice is perfect and the cinematography is phenomenal! Honestly some of the most visually stunning TV I've ever seen!

This entire scene took me out. Bjorn’s entire eulogy to his mom, showing her whole life transitions in the outfits, and I just lost it when her voice spoke those words. And I thought finally, her and Ragnar, and Athelstan and the daughter were reunited. (just like Ragnar’s vision) ♥️♥️♥️ LOVED this entire show.

If there’s anybody that Bjorn truly loved it was his mother:) Was the reason his brothers didn’t kill her earlier. Always took her side no matter what. Lagertha was lucky to have a son like Bjorn

This shows how strong a mother and sons bond can be and the loss of one or the other can leave a wound that will never heal never scar it will remain open forever

I wish Bjorn had mentioned his sister, but this was a terrific scene, worthy of Lagertha.

All of them forgot about Gyda. Lagerthda and Bjorn did not even shed a tear for her which I find absurd as Lagertha was shown to be affectionate and loving with her daughter.

You know its a great scene, when you tear up without ever seeing one epiosde of that series.

I can't think of any show that drew my tears in so many occasions. Notability when Bjorn died, when Ragnar said good bye to Floki, Bjorn/Largertha left Ragnar, etc..

I tear up when she said she was ready to go and see Ragnars and told Bjorns he will see each other in valhalla and as someone who lost my mom a month ago I felt this man pain we will see each other again

My heart weeps so much💔 i cried with bjorn, this cut so deep that it touches you into your very soul. I can't get over this🥺
