रँडचा वध केल्यानंतर "खिंडीतील गणपती नवसाला पावला" असा निरोप चापेकर बंधुनी लोकमान्य टिळकांना पाठवला. हाच तो पुणे येथील गणेश खिंडीतील गणपती. याचे उल्लेख मध्ययुगीन इतिहासात सुद्धा सापडतात.

छान माहिती
या रस्त्यावरून मी आठवड्यातले किमान तीन-चार वेळा तरी जातो. हा बोळ तोच आहे का ज्यावरून फक्त स्कूटर मोटरसायकल वाले जाऊन मुख्य रस्त्याला मिळतात.
