Khamzat Chimaev - SMASH 'EM ALL
Спорт
/ mixedmollywhoppery
Khamzat Chimaev (born May 1, 1994), is a Russian-born Swedish professional mixed martial artist who competes in the welterweight and middleweight divisions of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He formerly competed in Brave CF.
Chimaev made his promotional debut in a middleweight bout against John Phillips, replacing Dusko Todorovic, on July 16, 2020, at UFC on ESPN 13. He won the fight via submission in the second round. This win earned him the Performance of the Night award.
Ten days after the fight against Phillips, Chimaev faced promotional newcomer Rhys McKee at welterweight on July 25, 2020 at UFC on ESPN 14. He won the fight via technical knockout in the first round. He earned his second Performance of the Night bonus award. This win also marked a new UFC record for the fastest consecutive wins in modern UFC history (10 days).
On September 6, 2020 it was reported that Chimaev would have another quick turnaround as he was booked to face Gerald Meerschaert on September 19, 2020 at UFC Fight Night 178. He won the fight against Meerschaert via knockout just 17 seconds into round one. This win earned him his third straight Performance of the Night award. This also earned him a new record, as it was fastest three fight winning streak in modern UFC history (66 days).

I love how people ignore that he is doing this to donate his money and his success to help the children in poverty or bad situations in his home country, exactly how is that 'evil'? Sure it sounds good, but think we will have to come up with something bit better... He is not the prettiest fighter ever, Luke Rockhold's opposite. He doesn't have to be pretty to be respected i would hope. A man who has seen war, and has himself witnessed evil committed and as a result it created a fire in him such that he is dead set in helping save kids from that ugliness. It is more like Khamzat 'The Wolf' Chimaev is closer i think... and the way he answered with that so casually, that is going to stick no doubt...

1 year later and this is still the best commentary on Hamzat. Great video
"i am Khamzat, I beat the people, smash the people, submit the people" - Khamzat Chimaev 2020
9:41 I've said it once and I'll say it again, he's like the evil anime version of Khabib.
A champion without a title feels naked this guy is getting his spot, inshallah.
I really hope we get to see Khamzat again. Even thought he didn't get to fight a ranked opponent I think he is a very special fighter. The way he could seamlessly transition from MW to WW, his composure in the ring, his confidence in himself -- he was truly impressive. It may be a stretch to say this since I only saw his few fights but I think he could have taken Izzy out.
So excited to see him rise through the ranks
I'm on the hype train. We'll see how he does against elite talent soon enough, but thus far it appears to me that he has the toolkit he needs.

at 170 he can dominate in my belief with good coaching, at 185 he will struggle against the elite he is too small for them . im not saying it's impossible he wins but it's hard fought.. he should stay at 170 untill he is champion and become a big 170 over 200 pounds walking weight like usman.. and when the weight cuts become too much at 170 go up to 185 in one big fell swoop gain more muscle mass and fight the best and try take over there too

He’s beating guys who arent even In the top 25 man. Thompson didn’t even want to fight him because he’s unranked let him move up and fight real competition then ride the hype train.

He looks like the person who came to recover money from you. @Mark Rodriguez A person couldn't be more ignorant. More than 17 million inhabitants of Russia were killled by Stalin and his communist comrades following the World War II. No country would voluntarily give up its indepence and surrender to Communists. Majority of people never considered themselves Russians in the south Caucus region. Since the fall of communism in Russia, tens of thousands of people were massacered in Ingushetia, Chechneya, Abhkhazia, Tatarstan in addition to through the proxy wars by the order of the former KGB liutenant colonel and current dictator leader Putin of Russia that constantly instigate terror in Ukraine, Georgia, Krygzstan, and other areas.

@@lambent123 Does Russia still have problems in Ukraine and other countries?? And did they also kill people places like Dagestan
@lambent123
3 жыл бұрын
@@UAGoWSuplexer Yes, Russia and Ukraine are in conflict and a ceasefire is in place currently. I am sure the outcome of the war in Nagorno Karabakh has renewed the confidence of the Ukrainian nationalist movement. Ukraine has started a UAV development project with Turkey while they also bought many UAVs from Turkey recently. They are being trained and testing the new drone technology. This is a clear sign that the Ukrainian military is preparing itself for a new war with the Russian militias in Crimea. Russia cannot attack Ukraine directly which would be considered an invasion by a foreign entity similar to the conflict in Azerbaijan's occupied territories which will involve NATO. Let's remember it was mainly the Turkish UAVs which have won the war for Azerbaijan. Turkey's support has also helped the Syrian Opposition to recover a lot of areas from the Assad regime supported by Russia. Also, the Libya's Tripoli government recovered many areas with the help of the Turkish UAVs in Libya from the Eastern Libya militias supported by Russia. In the predominantly Muslim Southern Caucus region, things appears to be calm after many bloody conflicts in the 1990s. They are weak and their lives being monitored heavily just like in Xinjiang-China. Any weakness in Russia or Russia being involved in multiple conflicts in the region will only support more uprising in those areas because first that's what history tells us; secondly, they really have strong dislike for the Russian oligarchic regime that goes centuries back.
