He is. I took a few lessons and he has alot of knowledge. Not so much in grappling, but striking he is a genius. My favorite coach in Sweden is Omar Bouiche tho.. He was the guy who literally took MMA to Sweden. He would compete in Shootfight in Japan when no one in Sweden knew what MMA was. Pancrase Gym was my favorite place to train at, secondly Allstarsgym and third Fight Club Sthlm Here is a highlight video of the man who took MMA to Sweden: kzread.info/dash/bejne/fpuXzNWIoavJobA.html Keep in mind, the video is 14 year old, but the video getting recorded was like 20 years ago (if not more) Omar fought in Shooto when Bas Rutten fought there, unfortunately they never fought each other So the statement "We made MMA what it is here in Sweden" by Andreas Michael is wrong. Its Omar Bouiche who made MMA here in Sweden. Per Eklund and David Bielkheden after that. Allstars gym is the new generation of MMA

@@vipr1142 that’s because he doesn’t claim to be an expert in grappling and he gets in other experts to cover the fields he isn’t an expert in . His mastery is boxing. Hence why he has such amazing striking skills and knowledge of such a complex and technically difficult sport like boxing.

Also before Andreas Michael Sweden wasn’t even acknowledged by the rest of the world in MMA so his statement is accurate . He didn’t say he brought it to Sweden he said he elevated it to the platform it is now which is absolutely correct.

I just put out Omars name because he is worth mentioning - he brought MMA to Sweden. And yes, Sweden was on the map before. We had 2 UFC fighters before Alexander Gustaffson, Per Eklund (who I also trained under) and David Bielkheden... And Omar, as I said, who brought MMA to Sweden who competed in Pancrase (Japan). Unfortunately he got injured and started coaching instead. Cant I have a favorite without you getting butthurt? And no, he said that he brought MMA to Sweden, its in the video lol, thats why I corrected it. He said exact: "MMA is popular now, and we actually, SINGLEHANDEDLY made the sport what it is today, here in Sweden" Which is false.
I love how he stays in his own lane as a boxing coach and doesn't pretend to know about other aspects of mma.
he also made teymur brothers go from k1 to mma and ufc. and niklas bäckström to ufc aswell

@@lakebennett1274 what about Colby tho? Usman and Colby are basically in the same level just usman is heavier and hits harder. I believe Colby is a way better wrestler aswell. He could give khamzat problems because of his cardio and amazing wrestling. Khamzat always has ko power tho

Andreas Michael is a wonderful human being , beyond being such a talented coach , he is also a very loving and supportive brother , partner and father to all of us who are lucky to have him in our lives . Actually nobody is saying at all that he is the best coach. From what I've seen, people are saying he is a great coach and one of the best UFC coaches. I really don't know where you are getting that from, that just seems like you either misinterpreted what people are saying or fabricating this, because not once out of 120+ comments I've seen, has said he is the best coach. If they did, then they must be out of their minds then, most people are saying Wittman is the best coach, since UFC 268 and a bit back.
He literally fought his entire career at LHW apart from his most recent fight with Fabrício Werdum so I don't think saying "famous heavyweight fighter Alexander Gustafsson" is accurate.

@@ronny5484 he is a Greek Cypriot, our accent is totally different to Greeks. Yes we do speak the same language but our dialect is much harder allowing us to speak anglosaxon languages such as english and possibly Swedish in a much better dialect than Greeks.
