Do some hamstring stretching but rotate your leg/foot 90 degrees outwards. Hopefully this will transfere power from the outer part of leg/but to hamstring where you want it. Thanks for another intresting video.

I would say depends on where you struggle more. I focus more on the pull personally but everyone is different based on technique...

Hey Morey. Your advice is not accurate. Few point about your running that you don't see and that you do not mention as factors of improvement in sprinting. 1. You are not running tall when you sprint. 2.Your leg is bend on contact with the ground when it should be straight. 3. Your body posture is not correct. (you actually mention something about this) 4. Your hips are far behind your leg. 5. Your upper body is leaning forward too much. 5. You strike on the outside of your foot because it is quite natural, but in your case this is accentuated due to an external rotation in your leg - this is more pronounced when you fully load your leg (watch your knee going out). Because of your running form (the things mentioned above), your timing of different body parts and segments is affected as your body is trying to compensate and find balance. Your arm position at a certain moment when you compare with Bolt - well compare the rest of the body position and you have the answer. Remember, the arms movement leads the leg movement. On another hand, I completely disagree with you, and many others, that a huge amount of downward force is necessary for sprinting. You just need enough force to maintain a tall running position and to support your body weight during transition. Sprinting is about horizontal forces, not vertical. Horizontal force is the determinant force in sprinting.

Thank you for your insight. I will keep helping people get faster every day regardless of your opinions. You mentioned 3 things that all have to do with posture. When I have only taken about 10 steps in this video. Watch my other videos when I am at full speed and my upper body is much different. With that said, I realize my sprinting form is not perfect and I enjoy the pursuit of trying to perfect it. Your comments seem to be lacking substance other than your vertical force and horizontal force thing at the end that has been scientifically proven inaccurate.
