Ойын-сауық

Kevin Nash, wrestling's six-time World Heavyweight Champion and twelve-time Tag Team Champion, is inviting YOU to become an insider in the most exclusive band of rebels in the Podcast sphere! RVD pick a hand segment is an all time classic. Shawn Michaels might be a changed man now , but his reputation will live on forever.

The issue is that Shawn claimed to be a changed man after he became a born again Christian.... Yet there are people like Shane Helms that say that Shawn was still a lousy and insincere human.

Well it goes both ways , since RVD reputation with drugs will also live on forever ... And look to what HBK achieved vs RVD. Preferences aside Shawn will be remembered as one of the best ever in the business. So it is what it is ...

@@FriksPt nobody ever denied his in-ring craft. As Jim Cornette put it - brilliant performer, lousy human being. Nobody ever denied the first part of that statement. But nobody ever denied the second part either. And if you don't grasp how crucial that is, you're not much of a human being yourself. I don't think you understand what it means to have such a guy at your workplace. He's in his 50s today, he's bald, his body is a trainwreck, he's not a performer anymore... So I don't get what Kevin Nash is on about here.... When former co-workers talk about their experiences with the guy, they obviously talk about his time as an active WWE performer.

@@Tourist-Q. He's still a bit of a prick at times. Dax Harwood from FTR mentioned this in an interview last year. He said that he bonded with Shawn when he had a personal conversation with him. But when he spoke to Shawn in front of the other members of the kliq, he was ridiculed by him.

I love how it seems that Nash’s attitude is as much as you love your friends, you don’t have to share all their beefs. He knew that HBK rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, but if that person was cool with him he would just leave it at that. Too many people think “loyalty” is getting into every scrap your friends get into.

RVD apologised to HBK for this at a convention after he suffered a concussion himself. I can’t remember the interviewer but RVD is smoking weed and wearing glasses close to the screen in the interview. I think it’s about 2 maybe 3 years old.

Yeah - I've seen that one too, he said he thought it was a bit harsh himself on reflection ... but hey, RVD seems a genuine guy with zero fear so HBK would have been fair game for him. Just shows how much of a class act he is that he empathised and apologised to HBK after he was the one who was made to feel weird like that in the first place. In an alternate reality imagine RVD vs HBK at Wrestlemania... :)

I don’t know if Kevin is being disingenuous or not but this was post “saved” HBK RVD was referring to. After Shawn came back from his injury in 02 it was said by the guys in the locker room that he was a “changed man”. The Sheik hof speech was RVD was referring to was in 07 so by that point you can’t use the excuse of “oh that was 90s Shawn” or “he was going through things in his life at the time”. By this point it was already established that Shawn was a Christian man who wasn’t an asshole to people anymore so either RVD is extremely sensitive or the whole Shawn has changed this was just an act and he’s still pretty much the same guy he was. At least up to that point. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I went to an event in 2003 at DWO in Redford MI where guys like HBK, Sting, Animal, Buff Bagwell, Ted DeBiosi and Greg the Hammer showed up to wrestle... I believe it was called the Main Event. These guys were born again Christians and part of the deal was spreading the word of God... I like to believe they moved forward after 2003 and that these guys got their lives in order.

I like how in the prior video one of the brackets is "doctor comes on patient" . I used to go to this Flea Market in Fort Lauderdale call the swap shop, lot of fun stuff in there but aside from that was the massage place by these Asian people out in the canopy area for $20-$60, probably still there, but anyways I fell asleep out there several times and anytime you wake up somewhere where they have to wake you up and you're not home, you always have to just make sure nobody did anything to your butt.
