I'm watching this while Scott hall is being taken off life support.....the man had his demons....but nobody can say he's not an honest man, the razor character is one of the top 3 heels of all time, I'm thankful for DDP who gave him 5 more years that he most likely would not have had. Kevin Nash and hogan killed WCW with all the power and control they had. Hogan never wanted to share the spotlight when the right thing to do was put over younger stars. If they had starting pushing benoit, Guerrero, booker t etc with hogan, hall, Nash, Goldberg, Sting helping put them over they would have likely stayed around and kept competing with WWE.

Say what you want about how WCW ended and blame Nash for whatever but from the very first day they started at WCW, the first 2 years these 2 single handedly almost put WWE out of business. Scott Hall was great in the ring and even better cutting promo's. Not to mention might be one of the best wrestling minds ever! He created the crow gimmick for Sting, he came up with all the handshakes and swagger the nwo had and was the reason why all the wrestlers have a guaranteed contracts now. If he didnt start having personal problems the guy could have been one of the greatest heel world heavyweight champions ever. Nash too, for as little moves he did in the ring and for how much he was injured, he drew money in both WWF/WCW. And knew enough about the business for the company to allow him to be the booker towards the end. The company was already heading towards disaster its not like it just started when he started booking. Their both 2 of the most important guys in the history of the business during the time it was at its best.

Early in his WWE tenure as "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel, Nash, a wrestler of average skills at best, befriended Shawn Michaels who had Vince McMahon's ear at the time backstage. Later in WCW, he was closely aligned with Hogan and Bischoff and somehow managed to parlay those relationships into the job as a booker. Later, when he went to TNA, he befriended Jeff Jarrett who's father owned the promotion. Nash's problem wasn't that he was a good networker, but rather that he used his backstage stroke to not only push his own career but also to hold down wrestlers who he felt were not at his level (and ironically almost all of the guys in question from Chris Jericho, to Bret Hart, to A.J. Styles were vastly superior wrestlers to Nash). For those who believe that the ability to act cool and cut a good promo is what makes a wrestler truly great Nash, might have a case. However, he was a pitiful wrestler, and even where he was strong (charisma and mic skills) he was still always overshadowed by the likes of HBK, Triple H, Scott Hall, and Hogan

People like to say Nash only has 3-5 moves(which Cornette originally said but now every youtube mark runs with it) ...so what should Nash have done? Be buried in the mid card? Be just another “New Generation” gimmick? Go back to being Shawn Michaels bodyguard? No,he secured him a big bag of cash and did what he had to. He’s a big nigga, and like y’all say he has limited moves, get that money big Kev. Scott Hall is so charismatic at all stages man. Love these guys, they made Monday Nights epic for my childhood.
