@@lordkain9529 Whoa, I wouldn't even go that far... At least with Nash, he lies in a charming, conversational way, where as Hogan will spew utter bs with a poker face. With that being said, Nash IS one of the greatest politicians in the history of the business (which lead to Eddie Guerrero calling him "evil" in his autobiography). I can see why he's likable, and I can see how he can be a prick.

I remember seeing Kevin Nash for the first time in Norwalk,C.T. wrestling at a local high school in 1993 Vs Mr. Perfect. Nash as Diesel was indeed larger than life and the brother was big. Fun memories.
Last call with Scott Hall was WAY AHEAD of its time. Had scott had some tech savvy folks near him he could have beaten everyone to the punch with podcast and content creation. There is a ton of gems in those videos. WWE took some down because he was commentating on matches

I used to watch Last Call with Scott Hall all of the time. This was waaaay before everybody and their dog had a podcast. Yeah, it's too bad Scott didn't have the connection with the internet idiots.

Looking back it was so clever putting other guys with Hogan when they turned him heel. It elevated everyone and people still talk about it to this day.

It all worked thanks to Nash and Hall. Hogan had turned heel before, and no one cared. It was his outsiders-esque version that was totally awesome, thanks in large part to Nash and Hall. Nash and Hall saved Hogan's career.

Hogan wasn't perfect but the man practically single handedly carried pro wrestling entertainment into the stratosphere for 3 decades.

@@ciscoe007 3 decades is a stretch. I'll give you the 80s, but wrestling started to die beginning in 1990. Hulkamania was becoming Staleamania. Then his steroid use was becoming a lightening rod,not to mention him lying about it. Vince told him to take a hike because the negative publicity was at a crescendo. He did revive WCW in 1994, but that didn't last long. Fortunate for him that Scott Hall and Kevin Nash came on board to save the day in 1996. By 1999 WCW was starting to swirl down the toilet. Hogan did nothing for TNA either. No stratosphere for 3 decades.

I actually enjoyed the Hog Wild/Road Wild shows. The outside ones because if I recall a few was inside.. it was a different atmosphere and as a teenager watching, it was cool with all the bikes. It was only once a year.

As far as Hogan returning with the nWo in WWE. He was over AF at WM18 and Vince literally killed the momentum the night after and bringing the red and yellow back and splitting the NWO and making it garbage. Honestly, I believe they were too over and Vince didn't like them being more over than anything he had going. It didn't make WWE look good.

On that episode of 83 weeks Bischoff said things had gotten so tense between Hulk & Nash that Hogan brought a knife to defend himself if a fight broke out Although he said they kept it civil and talked everything out. I dont recall Eric saying anything about a scuffle w Hall.

I became a Travis Tritt fan watching WCW Hog Wild he put on a great performance to close the night I thought Hog Wild and the Spring Break Nitros made WCW feel less corporate

The Spring Break Nitros were cool. Hog Wild was a mess. I watched one a couple weeks back, and the announcers looked more like gay leather daddies than bikers. And if you remember later on all you heard were bikers revving all match.

I like Scott great talent. Really an under achieved. He had size charisma size great mic skills. But his drug problems hampered him. But never heard anywhere he was a shooter? Hulk would take him. He worked with much tougher guys than Scott.

Nobody is taking out two big guys like that(except maybe Haku or prime Shamrock), but i find it hard to believe either one of them really busts up Hogan at that point in time.

they were becoming absolutely huge while the story was not going anywhere. Sure, the checks were sound. But if you don't cater to your audience's wishes, you are going to lose them, and those fancy checks would be nothing but a memory. Keeping Hogan the champ all the time is one of those things that made WCW idiotic and self-destructive. It was like heels were runnning the show.

They didn’t carry them in their cheek, they we’re usually in boots or wrist tape. Oftentimes if it was well planned, the ref would carry it and pass it off while separating wrestlers.

The heat of that Hogan-Rock match and the memory of it really did disguise how underwhelming WM18 was.
