Quick Hulk Hogan story; many years ago I was at an airport on my way to Florida to visit my dying grandfather for the last time. I was miserable enough with that, but I would also be reuniting with one of my (abusive) parents for the first time in years. Who's sitting there waiting for the same flight? The Hulkster! I walked up and asked if I could get a picture, he goes "Of course, brother, c'mere!" and that will forever be one of the happiest moments of my life. God bless, brother man!

There’s lots of stories of him being personable with the fans but people want to whine about how other wrestlers didn’t like him or he tells tall tales etc. I could care less what other guys with egos think of each other, at the end of the day if you recognize and show humbleness to the actual people who made you rich that’s what’s important.

Hulk Hogan's role in Rocky 3 was likely one of the best things to happen to WWF because it was what led to the teaming of Hogan and Mr. T and was used very heavily in the promotion for Wrestlemania 1. That's when the popularity of WWF exploded.

Hogan is big now. In his prime he was monsterous. Hogan was promoted at 340 but he was a legit and fit 305+ back in his prime and 6'7" before all his surgeries. He was also crazy strong. I can't imagine Stallone asking to get a full force shot from him. For a guy Stallones size that's a borderline death wish. Hogan was smart enough not to do it, good on him.
