@@p382742937423y4 Yes. Scottish top flight football was dominated by two teams (Glasgow Rangers and Glasgow Celtic) for decades. Rangers, due to financial improprieties were demoted to the bottom league, leaving Celtic to win the premier league title for years essentially uncontested. Hence the show jumping (versus horse racing) analogy. But they say you should never explain a joke. So I hope I didn't kill it for you.

@@p382742937423y4It's nearly always been a two horse race for trophies in Scotland between the two biggest Glaswegian teams: Celtic & Rangers. Rangers got demoted multiple leagues for financial "irregularities" leaving Celtic to win everything for the best part of a decade. No longer a race with only one horse.. about the only way one horse can perform without any other horses in the vicinity: show-jumping.

@@p382742937423y4 There's basically only two teams in the title race in the top league. Once Rangers were kicked out, Celtic just turned up and ran away with the title for years.
His English accent is almost perfect until he pronounces "football" and the Glasgow comes right back in 😂😂😂

Englishman here. I think he's brilliant. The one thing I don't like is picking on individual people. Historical figures Hitler or Ghandi fine, but people still living I think is a cheap shot regardless of the person.
