I'm an English man but Kevin bridges is without doubt the best comedian on the planet in my eyes pure talent.
He's SO talented. Just a naturally hilarious man. No doubt he's worked his arse off to get to where he is. Wouldn't begrudge him a penny.

Done about 2 x 165 night sell out tours , last one doing 19 nights at Glasgow Arena. That’s why his overdue catch up should be hilarious as hes 4 years of stuff to talk about. “Big Kevs back in the game , eating on a Freddo,drinking a capri sun looking for lurvvve”!

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm Scottish, but live overseas now, and I crack up at some of his childhood/teen stories, what he and his mates got up to, because 90% of children and and teens in Scotland, have had the same experiences, especially if you live on a council estate. Billy is exactly the same. We can relate to them, no matter which era they come from.
I hope Africas got some good rock bands cause we need a fucking concert 😂😂😂😂🤦🏻♂️❤️👍🏼
I haven't been back to the UK since 2011(As if anyone cares,!)but u can miss out on a lot ..So I only just discovered this fella recently &he's f##king hilarious!. And I love that comment 'I hope Africa's got some decent Rock Bands',because we need a Concert!. Now's that's top quality!!

@@henrik2520 have you been to see the overdue catch-up ? Could not get tickets for Leeds , Manchester , Hull, Newcastle. He is best stand up out there followed closely by Al Murray who is a genius the way he’s created a parody character and some think he’s for real. His knowledge of History, Wars, Geography the lot is insane. Spends an entire show picking on audience but ties it all together so well.

Legend, and still young enough to be around as long as Billy, My 16 year old can resight all Kev’s stuff , that came as a surprise but I can’t say anything because he is one funny man, a typical Scottish sense of humour. In my old job the customer “caught” me uncontrollably laughing listening to Kev’s first special while wiring a dash cam in his car, thankfully he was a fan also and the pair of us ended up listening to it together, the pair of us doubled over laughing, good customer,could of ended bad but I even got a tip when the job was done. Keep it up Kev I N your one funny fu@#er!!!!!!

pure quality man
He's really good. There's a thread which is like an observational 'life' kind of comedy, which is intellectual in a manner. This is done without coming across in any way snobby - more than merely delivering in his native Glaswegian accent (Scots naturally somehow make stand-up delivery even funnier in my view, I'm from SW England). It's the choice of topics and knowing what resonates with a lot of people. It's clever and well done, he's a real pleasure to watch!

All you have to do is listen to him many times until you get it. Of course, there's a lot more to understanding KB than understanding the accent. There is a hell of a lot of "inside" cultural humour here. I'm English, and sometimes I have to play things more than once to understand them properly! Don't give up easily... It really is worth understanding Kevin's material. It's more than just comedy...
