Yes, I saw those shots thrown into this video. There was also another voice saying something a few times thrown in there that wasn't in the movie, not sure if that was from "White water summer" since I haven't seen that movie. I'm not sure why they edited in extra slaps to this video.

Meryl Streep looked amazing in this movie she still does today

Okay so backstory time: I started absolutely loving Meryl Streep more then anything I watched this movie about a year ago. And it’s amazing it was intense, and I love intense stuff. And I loved wade at the beginning of the movie and then ended up hating him. I watched it with my siblings 5 months ago and they loved so now it’s a family favorite in my family :)

Yes, I really like this movie too. Wade did start out pretending he was just some cool guy going rafting with his buddies, before revealing that he was a psycho and it being revealed that one of the guys with Wade and Terry was another guy they were taking hostage, and then killed. Tom though, wisely suspected that something wasn't right, with the way that third guy with them just disappeared in the middle of nowhere.

The slaps were funny with the kid. But at 5:15 I died XD

I remember watching this on a plane. Not this edited version though.

Bacon plays a convincing bad guy too. He really played a horrible person in "Sleepers" as that sadistic reform school guard who beat and raped the kids there.

"frisk the guard" I think. I was never sure what that meant in connection to the other guy from their raft that Wade and Terry killed. And who was the third guy who was dead? One was they thought Tom was dead, the second was the other guy from their raft they killed, but I don't know who the third one was.

I guess because they were in the middle of nowhere and didn't know which way to go, except, except, that they could've just walked along the river. Just like Tom did nearer to the end of the movie. So yeah, I'm wondering the answer to the question also. I guess that they felt that walking would be alot slower and they were in a hurry to get away from the authorities, and thought that there's a much better chance of being caught travelling on the road. Just a guess.

No, well I don't so anyway. Wade was the one in charge. He's the one who shot Tom and the other guy who disappeared from their raft, and then blamed Terry for not staying awake watching the family and not frisking the guard. Well, actually, on second thought, the movie never showed who shot the other guy on their raft (I guess the "frisk the guard" line was connected to him), but it seems most likely it was Wade. Since Tom was never actually killed, the only guy who actually was killed was the other guy who was with Wade and Terry at the start of the rafting trip. But I wonder, who was the third guy that was killed? Terry said that 3 people were dead.

@@alvexok5523 i know this is 4 years ago but it was definitely the guard who shot the other guy on the raft. As they were robbing the cattle auction, the guard was armed and shot the 3rd bad guy..he was slowing down the get away so wade got terry to shoot him and finish him off. That's what the boys dog was trying to dig up earlier in the movie. And Don't forget wade killed that park ranger that tried to stop them from going down the gauntlet.

This movie is fucking insulting to Dads and Husbands. The man is working his ass off, including weekends to pay for her Lavish homestead and all the wife can do is complain about it. Even worse, she poisons her son's brain and the fuckin kid even hates his dad for trying to support his family.
