People have never heard of this little concept called "burden of proof" have they? The accused doesn't have to prove shit, first the accuser has to bring evidence to his claims to the table. After that the accused may defend. There's no need to defend against random accusations. Otherwise you could just run around and randomly accuse people of ANYTHING. And since they can't easily prove they didn't do it, they'd be guilty even if no evidence ever existed. It is rather uncommon that you'd be able to prove a negative (proving you didn't do something) and good for jeremy that he had the option. But most of the time you can't prove a negative, which is why evidence of the positive is required (evidence as to why he did it) and not of the negative (evidence at to why he didn't do it). Unbelievable that so many people these days have trouble with this simple concept that makes complete sense once you think about if for a second. Especially considering that keemstar calls himself a "newsman". A newsman should know such a simple concept.

First, Keemstar openly defends Onision and softballs an interview with him while calling the anti-Onision community scum, despite the very public receipts of some of his behavior and an on-going federal investigation. Then, he openly accuses a man of sexual assault with no evidence, an interview with a witness where he openly leads the girl in to claiming sexual assault, and no further evidence to back up his claims. Later, her credibility is thrown out with the bath water and he chooses to double down. Now, he accuses the Quartering of false striking a channel, despite showing no receipts from Eight Thoughts of which channel struck him, and despite Quarterpounder revealing the flagging histories of at least 8 channels. Still, it's not good enough for Keem and he doubles down without any evidence to back up his claims. This is it - Keemstar is worse than CNN.

I just watched 30 minutes of a dude regurgitating an arguement between 2 grown ass men..... what am I doing with my life lol.

To be fair, there was XBL recordings of Keemstar getting hostile with his girlfriend and her screaming and crying in terror, and then later making a statement sounding like a hostage being forced to say he doesn’t abuse her. Was from years ago and is on KZread.

It’s so hilarious watching these old guys argue on Twitter. You’re videos are like audio books of twitter beef, love it.

What kills me on this is you can typically tell someone has lost the argument when they start attacking you on personal and possibly immutable qualities and just dismiss the actual argument at hand.

I'm not exactly sure how Twitter drama works, but in a courtroom, the defendant (The Quartering in this case) is always innocent until proven guilty, and the reasoning behind this is that if a person is falsely accused, there is no chance of conviction unless the defendant is being framed. Keemstar's logic is unethical and also inhumane, as these rules should be followed in and out of the court room. Say you're at work, and your pen goes missing. Instead of immediately accusing one of your coworkers, you could try to find it or ask a coworker if they saw it. In this case, DM the Quartering if he did it or not and ask politely for proof, as he would be inclined to provide it. He went about this completely wrong. He also doubled down, which is never the right thing to do. If the masses say otherwise, do not self incriminate.

He knows this. He is doing this to cause drama because he is aware the internet rallies to combat obvious injustice. Jeremy is also aware of this but had to reciprocate because keemstar dwarfs him follower-wise (like how one of the people pointed out in the video, if a celebrity accused you of groping them with zero proof you would still have to defend yourself). I can only assume this only ever warrants attention because of the 20% or so of the human population with an IQ below 90.

I remember having seen keem’s video one time, immediately got the impression that he should be in both anger management class and grade school at the same time, dood didn’t grow since age 4. That was like years ago.

The burden of proof is on the claimant, meaning it is on Keemstar to prove his assertion, not the Quartering to prove his innocence. Anyone who has a channel dedicated to drama cannot be trusted to do anything but create drama. It is their default paypig and they are incentivized by their nature to keep it going. To think all he had to do was show an ounce of maturity and integrity and admit he was out of line. What a child.
