Britbong is one of those people that is in their late 20s to early 30s that hasn’t gotten out of kindergarten humor and Tomas the train films. Repeating himself 30 times, “did you get banned leafy? H3h3 is living a lie. His "edgier" content is how kids and new fans find him. Once these new fans binge Ethan's back catalog, they move onto the podcast. Initially, the podcast was like a KZreadr version of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. Guests like Dr. Disrespect, Video Game Dunkey, Pewdiepie, Jordan Peterson, Bob Sagat, etc... basically a mostly KZreadr centric, yet diverse group of people having a good time. Something changed after a while and Ethan tried to portray a more Hollywood acceptable character. He tried to incorporate political propaganda (mirroring opinion clips from CNN's KZread channel.) Opinions aside, his political takes proved to be at best hypocritical to his own history of supporting free speech and fair use, to factually incorrect when worse. This turned a great deal of his biggest fans into former fans. (Admittedly, his constant hypocritical explanations and inane defense of this is where I sadly grew tired of him. Especially when he couldn't just admit he was drunk and wrong, instead tripling down on hypocrisy after hypocrisy.) Even though so many fans get turned off and unsubscribe, there's always new fans to replace the old ones since Ethan's back catalog is left untouched. By the time these new fans realize they got played by a hypocritical opportunist, newer ones are making their way through his back catalog. It's like a cycle, the H3h3 Viewership Cycle... Ethan doesn't see the hypocritical narcissist he has become. When confronted with it, his ego flies into a rage. He convinces himself that anyone in his way of "winning" must be utterly discredited. Anyone that can help him win, Ethan will use up and eventually dispose of once they speak their mind. Why is he like this now? To fit in to what he thinks is the Hollywood elite, maybe. It could be that he feels this is how he protects his ability to pay his outrageous mortgage (even though Hila's parents are worth about $50,000,000. This also raises questions about the ethics of their usage of crowd funding and all the FUPA cash. That's for another day though.) Maybe Ethan has a poor PR team? Anyone who gets bothered by it doesn't understand that soy doesn't even fuck with your hormone levels nearly as much as, say, dairy from cows does (though do keep in mind that soybean oil seems to be pretty bad for you, especially if it's GMO; it's present in extremely small amounts in edamame itself and is fine as a whole food, but the refined oil in amounts people normally use in cooking is very unhealthy). I briefly had an encounter with Britbong & his crew some years back. I was minding my own business & a group of people were on my server trolling the place, I asked who they were (as it was private) and they essentially said "Britbong sent us" before immediately leaving. I also had another encounter when visiting another friends server where he constantly spammed the voice chat with him doing a 'radio' voice. I'm not a fan of keem, but h3h3 really didn't look before he leaped.
