In America there is a law that if someone steps on your property with the intent to do harm or threaten you, you are allowed to open fire. Second not sure if you noticed but Americas legal system is shit and the police literally won't and can't do anything until either frank or boogie is hurt or if frank is recorded multiple times stepping on to boogie property. Ten times at the minimum. So boogie couldn't report him if he wanted (which he probably does).

@Connor Cruz Hassle should just leave the man alone. On the other hand, this Boogie man just wants an excuse to kill him at this point. I mean, threat or not, I'm sure he's very well aware that Hassle won't do anything other than harass him, which is wrong. However, harassment doesn't give you the right to kill someone for it. I think Boogie would be in the wrong (morally) for killing someone for harassing him. He just wants to kill the man. He could have pressed charges and had a restraining order put on Hassle.

@Connor Cruz It really doesn't and it really baffles me that people think that him shooting Frank was okay and justifiable. A lot of people here seem to think that shooting should be the first thing to do when someone trespasses because "you never know what weapon that might have on them." I really don't agree. If they're harassing you through your door and telling you to come out, call the police. If they try to break in after or even before, then yes, kill them or at least try to restrain them if you can. Nobody really seems to care about lives anymore.

I mean, this frank guy says boogie is deranged when HE's the one who drove many miles (was it across 2 states? i can't remember) to harass this guy at his home over an INTERNET BEEF. THAT is is the definition of deranged. Boogie was simply defending himself-maybe the gun brandishing and warning shot was a little much, but what if he hadn't shown it. See how long Frank stayed even when he saw the gun? What would he have done if Boogie didn't have a gun? In a way both sides are responsible for making stupid decisions.

While I agree. If there is a investigation like boogie claimed, there are a few things to make known on possible charges against him. As sometimes self defence can be tricky. Note not at all a lawyer. But one thing is the discharge of a firearm. Firing a weapon is SUPER illegal. Firing it as a warning shot is Super illegal, and potentially dangerous. Another is the standard for self defence MIGHT be an issue. I'm not sure of the law in arkansas. If the state has stand your ground/castle doctrine, that's likely. Though, the standard in many states is immediate fear of serious injury. If it's a case, those 2 you'd have to watch for. As many cases of seemingly obvious self-defence people have been charged for. Like the immediate fear of injury might be tricky depending, as Boogie has had tweets stating he knows he isn't a threat. Nothing against boogie. Just pointing out the possible problems.

While I don't disagree that Frank is totally in the wrong and fucked up here I'm gonna split hairs - he didn't go and harass boogie in his home over an internet beef, he did it for content. This kind of thing is literally Frank's entire shtick. Boogie handled this whole thing horribly poorly - he knows exactly who Frank is and I highly doubt he feared for his life so much as he was just pissed off. That's why he goaded him in the first place, and that angle is important because it could well mitigate the self-defence aspect. Can't be discharging a firearm in your front yard in the suburbs either. The smart and right thing to do would have been to not acknowledge Frank at all and call the cops. All he's done is landed himself in hot water and given Frank all the attention he wants. It's a real shame. I really don't like boogie but I hope he comes up on the right side of this, Frank is just pure garbage.

Most states have Stand Your Ground (protecting yourself on the property of others, or public property) and Castle Doctrine (protect yourself AND your property) laws. What you have to do leading up to making the decision to take a life is different, but they almost all have the same end allowance. Boogie is a TERRIBLE CREATURE, and his 'going to his mom's old house' tour shows how much of a liar he is, but he was in the right to threaten to shoot this asshat. He was in the right TO shoot him, and he was in the right to send out a warning shot (provided it went straight into the air, which I doubt, since he wasn't even holding it right in that picture). Just because you own a gun, that doesn't mean you WANT to kill someone, even if you talk like you have a big dick beforehand. If he'd just thrown the door open and opened fire, that could've potentially removed the Castle Doctrine defense.

I just want to give my "hot take" about Boogie's behaviour (based on Arkansas laws)- "An intruder must be making (or have made) an attempt to unlawfully or forcibly enter an occupied residence, business, or vehicle." This didn't happen at all "The intruder must be acting unlawfully (the castle doctrine does not allow a right to use force against officers of the law, acting in the course of their legal duties)." Maybe, I mean, make a threat is a unlawfully act, but I am not sure, seems to be so trivial for me "The occupant(s) of the home must reasonably believe the intruder intends to inflict serious bodily harm or death upon an occupant of the home. Some states apply the Castle Doctrine if the occupant(s) of the home reasonably believe the intruder intends to commit a lesser felony such as arson or burglary." Boogie could argue that he was not in a good state of mind and/or he really think the guy wanted to kill him, but with video proof of Frank just being obnoxious and swearing at him, this will most likely be used as proof that Boogie was negligent when he shoot his firearm "The occupant(s) of the home must not have provoked or instigated an intrusion; or, provoked/instigated an intruder's threat or use of deadly force. In all cases, the occupant(s) of the home: must be there legally; must not be fugitives from the law themselves, or aiding/abetting other fugitives; and must not use force upon an officer of the law "performing a legal duty. Boogie very clearly provoked frank, and we have video proof of that; but he was very peaceful when asking Frank to leave the residence, using the gun as a last resource Considering Boogie lives in Arkansas he didn't have the right to shoot at any circumstance, due to the fact that Arkansas adopts the "castle doctrine only", Boogie makes the decision to open the door, confront the suspect, and “stand his ground”, which is not allowed there. (At least not if you're looking to lawfully shoot someone) He should have just called 911. P.S I am not a lawyer, and this is what I have searched and concluded (something may be wrong), feel free to disagree. I think Boogie will most likely be absolved and frank will have to pay a HUGE bill, maybe even locked up. (let’s be real he deserves it, a lot)

Comes to the question of if he did kill or injured Hassle. Would it go well with all the stuff online was used against him. Like people pretended they knew about states stand your ground, castle doctrine, and duty to retreat laws. Stalking, threats, and harassment by hassle was ridiculous. How will it turn out in court. Because Hassle was being stupid boogie didn't do the smart thing. He does a warning shot. Which is illegal. In a duty to retreat state. Which in a stand your ground it still be illegal. Like the Andy Warski bs in florida.

  • @captainweekend5276

Boogie's life wasn't in any serious danger in that moment, he likely would be tried for murder or manslaughter if he did kill Frank, as regardless of what had been said online, Frank didn't actually do anything in person that was endangering anyone. The simple fact that he did turn up would be pulled into question as the keemstar interview would be used as evidence that he did actually invite Frank to his property, and as such did not have a right to kill him for turning up. I also think had he shot him no one would be defending him online, either way Frank was in the wrong, but doesn't deserve to be killed for what he did, and in the same way Boogie shouldn't have fired a warning shot as that endangered others.

Ngl, it seems like keemstar is trying to turn over a new leaf, he is actually worried for someone’s mental health and actually made some good actions throughout this entire thing. Good for keem even though what you did in the past or what keeps happening to you. edit: i am editing this comment because i want to clarify, I do not like keem, like most of you guys, but if there is one thing i can say, is that he is trying to be as helpful as he can, and yes i know he is feeding off the internet drama, but isn't also what it's like with other channels like quartering and scarce, but not with too much hate, just that they are mainly neutral and giving their own opinion. I just find it weird that people can't find redemption in those who are worth in redeeming, i'm not saying keem is redeemable, but we can forgive him for some actions and remember what he has done in the past, but like, ain't it unfair for him as well to get thrown off youtube over one guy's hate for him (i'm talking about h3h3)
