The story of #Keanewoods is a dark one and delves into the underworld of Ireland .
Keane was beheaded and body parts scattered across Dublin .
But his torso has still not been found .
Police believe it is the cause of death was stab wounds to torso .
Gardaí investigating the gruesome murder of a teenager have recovered bloodstained machetes they believe were used in the killing.
It is suspected that Keane Mulready-Woods (17) was stabbed multiple times in the torso before his body was dismembered.
It is understood the victim's clothes may have been burned in a fire at the back of the house in Co Louth where it's believed the murder took place. The knives were recovered in a nearby shed.
The teen's limbs were found dumped in a large sports bag in Coolock on Monday night, while the victim's severed head was discovered in a burnt-out stolen car in the early hours of Wednesday.
Most of Keane's torso has not yet been recovered but gardaí believe it is that part of his body where he suffered fatal wounds.
"These knives have been seized at the crime scene and there are a number of them seized.
"It is not suspected that these knives were used to dismember the body," a senior source said last night.
Tensions remain extremely high in Drogheda and officers are on high alert after observing the chief suspect in the case drinking in a local pub on Wednesday.
His bitter gangland rival, Cornelius Price, was also reported to be drinking in a nearby pub on the same night.
The Irish Independent understands that since then, the chief suspect for the murder of Keane has returned to the capital in a show of defiance to his
enemies.

A massive investigation was continuing last night into the murder and the house in the Rathmullen Park area of Drogheda where it is believed the teen was murdered was still being forensically examined last night.
Gardaí believe the 35-year-old Dublin gangster and a 24-year-old Drogheda criminal were involved in the teen's murder but neither of them lives in the house being searched and at least half-a-dozen thugs were involved.
Gardaí said last night that a sick video posted on social media that showed a dismembered torso with multiple stab wounds was "hugely unlikely" to be the tragic teen.

I know it's fairly bad what happened but there was a homeless lad down in cork with his head cut off only a week before in Ireland and he was quiet chap nothing was said much about him though

What do people think about this: we should legalise Class-A drugs. This would put the gangs out of business, you could buy drugs in shops like you can buy cigarettes and alcohol. I find it strange how you can legally drink yourself to death or smoke yourself to death yet drugs are illegal because they are harmful. I'm from Britain, and I think there is an argument for legalising drugs here and in Ireland.

@@celticcomradelad1850 I think if hard drugs were legalised the criminals would panic as their income would be ending and I would imagine they'd still sell hard drugs in the local community, but try and do it cheaper than the shops would so that they still stay in business. They'd do this by lacing the drugs with other things to give the illusion to the customer that they're getting the same amount, but in reality they're getting about three-quarters as much. The criminals would go to extreme lengths to protect their incomes, you might even have the shops which were selling the drugs being burnt down by the criminals.

Jeff Oliver Criminals will always find another income source, that's true. However the drug trade is perhaps the most profitable criminal career out there, other than white collar. Criminals have gotten so rich from the drug scene that it has reached a point in Ireland where small local gangs have become Cartels doing business with drug dealers, from the Cartels of Mexico to the Mafia of Russia. I ain't fond of hardcore drugs one bit and have never taken them, but growing up in Dublin and seeing all this destruction and gangs getting stronger made me realize that most of the destruction being caused wasn't overdoses or addiction, it was gang killings, house burnings, robbery ect. Sure these drugs are illegal and still they exist and will continue to, the sad reality is some people will always take to drinking, smoking or snorting stuff up their nose. Some people will take in moderation and some won't. I think it would be best for the state to regulate it and keep it out of ordinary shops, I don't want to see any sort of promotion for them like they do with alchohol and smokes. I often hear the argument that the war on drugs is to protect children. I don't think that's the case, it's much more easy for a kid to get his hands on a bag of cocaine than it's alcohol in my country and that's because a dealer doesn't ask for ID, sure a dealer will recruit children. I say if an adult has sovereignty over anything in this world, it's their own body. Let's give adults that sovereignty and take away one of the biggest money game the criminal underworld has ever seen aswell.

Im just confused at how NOBODY has spoke, not even anonymously. Surely keane told somebody who he was going to meet. Im confused at how he could ring his mum and say im coming home late, id have thought shed say where are you going or who are you meeting and he would have said, or atleast told someone else where he was going and the police could question them... this is a wham mess
