Can't believe that I never hear her on the radio! Her voice is so clear, so filled with emotion.
Listening after 10 years and still the coolest song for today. Real musician's song. She is an artist!

this was the song that we had played when we got married, he was 27 and i was 48 we met in a mental health unit where we were both patients. 8 years later and we are still crazy and still going strong

When I was about three, in England, I used to know all the words to this song. I always requested that Mum put on the song in our car. I always dreamed of meeting Katie, or at least going to one of her concerts. Now, living in California, I still know all the words, and play it all the time. And time hasn't broken the happiness I feel whenever I hear this song.
Wogan brought me here. Just watched him on BBC1. I remember listening to Katie on his show while I used to drive through between Bradford and Leeds. In reality probably only heard it once on that journey but every time I hear the song i am transported to that road. RIP Terry, thanks for everything including bringing Katie to our attention.
This woman has beauty, class, elegance... Katie Melua is truly one of a kind. She is simply divine.

I just discovered her by browsing through KZread. She is a best-selling female European artist and I had NEVER heard of her till a few days ago. I live in the US. That shows how terribly under promoted the REAL talent is, and we get stuck with shows for the eyes and not for the ears, how can she not be famous in the US but Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, and others are worldwide music icons??? Either way, I am happy I found her!!!

i've listened to her albums 3 - 5 times DAILY over a year now, and its a pleasure and privilege every single time the lyrics is perfect, the background/instrument is perfect and most important of all the vocals is beyond perfect none of her songs ever feel old, after a year of playing the same songs they sound just as fresh as the first time i heard them, with some songs warping me into the songs she's singing about, you better believe it Katie Melua is MAGICAL !

I just discovered Katie recently. What a wonderful talent. Such a melodic voice. Often she sings about the feelings of youth, but in some songs she seems to be an old soul. And quite lovely to boot. Really special.
