I can hear so many influences in her beautiful voice. From Whitney to Martina McBride. Yet she is uniquely herself, as well. So lovely.

Amazing performance, un repeatable voice

Katharine has done many renditions of this song , but this version " blows them all out of the water ". It gave me goose bumps and really is just magical. She has the voice of an angel.It certainly does deserve millions and millions of hits. Hopefully one day Katharine will produce an album with this type of music and then she may get the recognition her incredible talent deserves. There really is no one else like her today on the music scene.

The original American Idol performance still takes it. It was more emotive. There was so much beauty in it's simplicity. Her tone sounds great here as well but a lot of the riffs and runs she added came off as showy rather than really adding to the concept of the song.

This girl's a classic...beautiful soul in a beautiful voice in a beautiful heart. No wonder she traveled so far

Yes, I was impressed with Katherine's talent right from the beginning. She is was a star then and she should have easily won American idol. However she is doing just fine today and it really doesn't matter that she didn't win. ❤❤

+Jenny Mae Katherine McPhee finished second in her season on American Idol-it was her rendition of Over the Rainbow in the semi finals that people thought put her over the top to win but she came in second. I still remember her performance in 2015.

Jenny Mae katherine mcphee is my favorite singer from the idol series. they look for a certain type of singer. i always say bob dylan never would have made it past the first round. art is more than just a voice or winning a grammy.
