Its funny because of how "vanilla" her favorite things are. Picking Kevin Hart as the funniest man you've ever seen says a lot about how "basic" you are because his comedy is low level easy-to-follow humor. Its not that Gervais is putting himself in Hart's shadow, it's about how simple people like Kath are

@Telleva Simple comedy is less funny, that's why its worse. Not because it's more inclusive. The best comedians can get all types of people on board for a complex rollercoaster of a joke and leave you laughing without even really knowing why. Your basically saying that mcDonalds is better than a fine-dining restaurant because it's less complicated.

This show is expertly written, it balances emotions with comedy in just about 26 minutes, taking such serious themes as loss and grief and turns it on itself and we get a heartfelt comedy, probably the most exciting work of art since the release of 1989 Belgian Techno Anthem , Pump Up The Jam.

Actually Kath’s argument proving that God is, is actually spot-on, though perhaps a bit over-simplified. It matches exactly with theologian R. C. Sproul's (defined as that/who which has (eternally) the power of being in itself/himself), such as in the following: “Something has the power of existence in and of itself eternally, or-the simplest child can understand-nothing could possibly exist now. Because if there was ever a time when there was nothing, this is a manifest impossibility. And if anything exists, something has to have the power of being in it. What could be more simple? It doesn’t have the power of being in itself, then nothing could be. See? You don’t even need the heavens to declare that. Just look at your shoe.” Sproul has also pointed out that mathematical chance describes probability of things that already exist; chance has no power of being in itself. Compare with what she said: “How could you not believe that someone created all this, though?” “It can’t just be chance, can it? What, the Big Bang, everything came from nothing? That’s impossible.” “Where did God come from? He’s always been around.” And, neatly, “I am” is what “Yahweh” means - which the Greek LXX translated as “the being” or, more Anglicized, “He Who Is.” One might reasonably argue which god, or more properly which understanding of The Being, actually is truly the One Who IS (Yahweh? Allah? Odin? Zeus? etc. - so we look for supernatural proofs to evaluate those claims, such as miracles and fulfilled prophecy); but it is nonsensical to argue that nothing has the power of being (in itself).
