It's strange, really... for someone who is so brilliantly talented at writing sitcoms all of Ricky's films tend to be pretty trashy, full of safe, boring, American-style comedy. He does have a bit of a point. When movies are advertised on tv, most times they use clips of the best parts of the movie, which kind of takes away from the surprises. Of course most people already know what a movie is about before they go see it, and society seems ok with this, even though most movies are all just the same thing rehashed over and over, or they're from something already done many years ago. And film critics/reviewers basically give away even more of the storyline/plot. But none of it really matters, because general society is just so easily pleased today. They like being served the same old slop over and over again, and rave about it, begging for more.

I know what you trying to say people get so irritated now a days that people don't know their grandma. I have enjoyed a comment more when been undereducated.

hes definitely onto something cus i love when i know literally nothing about the film ive sat down to watch and its actually a good film, so much better than knowing what direction the movies gonna go before u even started.
I loved the idea of the film but didn’t understand why just because people couldn’t lie it meant they had to be 100% brutally honest
This was a better advertisement for watching Karl Pilkington content
Ricky gets his standard "crying, emotional peak scene" off early, you will laugh 3 or 4 times., Obligatory love story crammed in. 3/10 - literally everybody.

YourPalHDee Id give it a 5/10 personally. Some scenes were great like the scene where his mum died, but a lot of it seemed a bit rushed or forced. Bang average for me. Was an alright film with hints of genius about it

Honestly a great concept that could have been explored in a multiple ways. The comedy route might not have been the best but it was still enjoyable.

Started off good then it turned into a shitty romcom.
Karl being the voice of reason in this. He was pretty honest about it without saying the movie was bad
I am so jealous that Ricky got to powder Karls round head. It's like a holy relic.
This was probably the best review the movie got

It's actually one of the more interesting cities in the US, which tells you how dull and samey most of the US is. I don't know why people go on holiday there honestly.
I'm in love with the way karl says zin-gah
Priceless!
I would LOVE to have a beer with these blokes 🙂👍🇦🇺 especially Karl!!

@@ultimaterickystevekarl5636 There is a 20 min clip that used 2 be on KZread with Ricky,Karl and Warwick if you could find and upload that. There is about a 2 min clip of it already on KZread but there is a much longer version. I think it was an extra on a Ricky stand up DVD.

Anybody who's seen the film will know just how kind Karl was being
this is the best movie advert ever. Now i really feel like I need to watch this damn movie.
Her mans her mits !
He's so fucking matter of fact. I love it.
Wish the caveman scene wasn’t cut
The start with him powdering his head cracks me up hahaha
Agghhhhh I can’t believe I’ve found a pilko video on youtube I haven’t seen before! So funny Ricky painting his head
I only wish Karl was still doing things like this lol
Just be honest that’s what we want so true Karl
I can't unsee the shine on karl anymore 😂
Only Ricky can do this. I'm 10 seconds into the video and already hit the like button haha
Karl is just amazing. If you want an honest review, Karls your man ❤️👌👍
4:33 Illavazeeeenguh! I lost it
I wondered what other great love stories he will mention after "Romeo and Juliet"... And then he went with King Kong xD
Ricky: "Oh, it's turning into a travel show now" An idea was born.
It's fun seeing Karl in a position of power against Ricky here. He's so right about the romantic aspect, too
He reviewed it better than I would.
I genuinely thought from the title that Karl explains how humans started to lie

He'll have a theory
The funny thing is that Ricky doesn't rely on what Carl is saying and knows that he is already doing a big promotion for the film just by letting Carl talk about it.
10:27 all those names and he didn’t even mention Louis ck
Still funny to see these guys....from Vancouver canada
This movie has just been advertised in 2021 (this message is in 2022)

I honestly agree in a way with Karl's stance, I absolutely love going into shows and movies and short films blind. I prefer knowing nothing and just jumping in. I try to avoid trailers and info as much as possible.
I thoroughly enjoyed Ricky's show where pillkington was the main focus and Ricky sent Carl on many excitement murdered adventures Carl being the accidental comedy killer. Twas wicked. And I'm not an easy sell.
The elephant. MAAAAAAAAAAN Izma. FAVorITE filmmmmm
