First attempt at a DECK TECH with my favorite COMMANDER!!

And again, it's a very, very nice deck tech. I like all the cards, specially bolas's citadel.

Yes it is. I build the Deck to day and runs very nice! What do you think about running "Eeri Ultimatum". Does this deck only needs one mass reanimator card(living death)?

@@andreangelstorf3753 long comment here for yah lol. you built the exact deck from this video? That’s awesome! Are you playing online with it? How’s it doing? I linked a deck list in another comment and it goes over the win cons and other strategies. That’s a great suggestion! Eriee ultimatum has been in and out of the deck actually. The reason it is not currently in is that it’s mana cost is high and very specific. 7 mana and no colorless. I’ve found that you really don’t need the mass reanimation that it gives because you win with creatures. Living death does that cheaper and better because it board wipes your opponents too. Replenish is a mass reanimation and is also in the deck for enchantments which hits some creatures too. And worldly shaper mass reanimates all lands in gy. So The only permanent type that doesn’t have a mass reanimation is artifacts but there’s only 4 and 3 of which are under 2 mana and can be cast from yard with lurrus of the dream den effect. So really bolas citadel is the only permanent affected lol.

@@commanderinsight thx for the detailed answer! I played with friends at spelltable and i runned nearly the same deck you deck teched. I changed some cards but ist was really hard to take them out because your selection ist great an well thought out. I think about it to put this cards inte the 99: birds of paradise, corpse augur, serra's emissary(great card), archon of cruelty, fauna shaman and sheoldred, whispering one. Did you think about this cards?

Awesome I'm glad to hear! The best part about a reanimator Karador deck is you can really throw in what you want creature wise and it wont change the strategy to much. I have thought about almost all of the cards you mentioned but a few. Birds of paradise is good mana dork for any green deck to help ramp. my only paper copy is currently in my Meren deck. Same with fauna shaman and Archon of Cruelty. they all work better in my Meren deck but great cards nonetheless should you chose to put them in karador. Fauna shaman is a little slow so I replaced it with Survival of the fittest. I had 1 paper copy but they are expensive, if you play online it isnt a problem. Sheoldred used to be in the karador deck but i took it out because it was too slow for 7 mana as well. Ill be doing my Meren deck tech soon too.

Made a budget mill deck that I'm excited to try out.

This was expensive. I have almost all creature spells. All my creature does something like mill, destroy give me life etc

Yes this is my expensive deck. i've slowly been upgrading and building it up over the 7 years ive been playing. i tried to get full arts, foils, and went top shelf for the cards if i could. Fortunately there is a budget version card for almost every expensive card in the deck so this type of deck can still be viable for budget players too. I wanted a deck that didnt just rely on one thing or one way to win. There is a little bit of an enchantment package with recursion there. I've added a few new cards that have come out since this video dropped as well as added in more mill cards to not rely so heavily on hermit druid. Having creatures that do stuff is a lot of fun when you have so many options with Karador on the field and a bunch of creatures in your yard.

Really cool synergies I'd add some dredge for a lot more mill but seriously impressive deck tech man good job

Thank you I really appreciate it! I do need some more mill you are right. I can consistently get out hermit Druid by turn 4 usually but I want other cards to rely on to mill others than him. Ive updated this deck a little and it’s seem to work better. I’ll Probly post an updated video soon for it.

What card would you cut for a Elsphet counquers Death? since it has a lot of synergy with enchantments i was thinking of just using that since it goes to the graveyard by itself. it a exile removal and goes to the graveyard by itself while making it really hard for the opponent to react cause of the increase mana cost on everything. Also i realized how good it would be with restoration specialist. also the card is really cheap.

Hey, if you want to run that saga enchantment I would keep all the enchantment support and recursion still and take out one of these two. Teneb the harvester, would be my first choice because it’s more creature revival redundancy and a higher cmc then the card you want to put in. Next would be thraben angel only because it helps for swinging in but isn’t necessary to win. Let me know your thoughts and thanks for the question!

Thanks. Ill try it out. Another creature i was thinking of is the blossoming bogbeast. Since you have so much life gain. Also i use lightning greaves instead of the crossroad concord. They sadly dont sell that card in my local LGS. I also took out ashen rider/angel of serenity for noxious gearhulk cause of restoration specialist being able to call artifacts with enchantments. Since it gives life gain aswell. The lands can really burn my hp down since i run hall of the bandit lord as a land. Really wish you would make a budget version of this deck so i can recommend it to my friends.

@@BriceBeNic3 yes I can look into a full deck tech for budget. For now I would say replace any expensive land out of your budget with a similar color paired land. Get the basic land fetches like evolving wilds. Those lands you put in will just most likely come in tapped but that’s totally ok since you win mid to late game. It’ll just be slower but work just as well. As for creatures, the best part about a graveyard deck like this is there is no “must haves” and you can build however you want. The objective is to legally cheat out the big creatures using things like animate dead or living death or worst case casting them with karador. Noxious gearhulk is a good include for sure. My pet card is ashen rider so I will always keep it in. When it etb or ltb you exile anything.

@@commanderinsight hello it's me again. I Have some tech to share. I dunno if you tried it already but I found a card called "ancestors chosen". It's like "Resolute Archangel" but it counts 1 life per card in the graveyard for the same cost but you can go over 40 health in terms of life gain. Sometimes when Vito is already on the board it just one shots anyone with the trigger. I recommend you give it a try if you haven't yet. Also Luminous Broodmoth is pretty rad with Mikaus.

@@BriceBeNic3 YES! That card is amazing. I think I will try to fit it in. I’ve never seen it before. I love how there’s always cards that exist that fit perfectly into a deck and arent staples. Also I had the brood moth in the deck at one point. A lot of the creatures I want to recur already have flying so it wasn’t as effective as I wanted. I may relook at it though because I do have many without flying as well. Thanks for both referrals

Amazing how this deck has so few mana rocks and lands. Looks high power though.

I’ll say that it depends on your playgroup a lot too. If the deck works as intended you have a hermit druid out by turn 3 milling most of your deck the following turn. From there it’s pick and choose what you need from your gy Mana rocks would probably be smart for consistency but I prefer to risk it to be able to include more big creatures. I haven’t gotten mana screwed in a while.

@@commanderinsight As I do with most new decks, I just put together a budget list without Hermit Druid using the parts from my old Teneb deck. No Druid means more Basics, so I have 7.
