Nice. This reminds me of the good old days with my gsp brothers, Hans & Frans. Just young me and the dogs back when there used to be pheasants in se michigan. Btw excellent camera work showing swing through shooting.

Same comments for this video as your last one-your dog training has paid off-not necessary for you to keep saying "whoa" and having to keep calling them back for the retrieve. Beautiful scenery to hunt in...nice slow-mo on the flushing, too. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! The videos make it look that way, but it takes lots of dog power and 10 to 11 (human) miles a day to find the birds. The dogs usually do about three times as many miles as I do. We’ve had a rough few years of drought. Thanks for watching!

I was going to head to Kansas a few days ago but the snow scared me away. Figured the back roads were going to be bad with either drifts and/or gumbo. I ended up in South Dakota, the hunting was good and the roads were mostly plowed. However I ended up at the urgent care with a sprained knee that happened on my last walk of the season. The snow drift I was walking on gave out and I dropped about 3 feet onto a twisted knee. In hindsight I think shoveling out a pickup would have been a better option.

It was pretty tough going this trip. Birds were really wild as expected. We had a great season though. I’d much rather shovel than end up in urgent care also! Thanks for watching!

Fantastic video as always! I greatly appreciate the simple, no-drama approach and love the dog work. My hunting partner and I are considering coming to KS late this year for pheasant and quail. Any chance you are open to a conversation to help answer some questions? If so, I'm not sure I want to post my phone number or email on KZread so I'm open to suggestions on how to begin. Thank you.

How many rounds are provided for the automatic rifle in the US, 3 or 5 ? In Italy until the 1970s, 5 rounds were provided, then they changed it to 3.

I’m shooting a Franchi affinity 20 ga. All I’ve been able to find lately is the Kent Fastlead in 5 and 6 shot. I hunt different states so I leave my plug in and just have 3 shots to avoid leaving it out accidentally if I’m in a state that only allows 3. Thanks for watching!
