The kamikaze drone from Iran Shaheed-136 with A Russian Designated name Geranium-2.
Why is this a big deal?
This Russian Kalibr Cruise Missile costs around 1 million dollars,
Now this American Tomahawk Cruise Missile cost about 2 million dollars
The Shaheed 136 is more or less a low budget Cruise missile with a reported price tag of just $10,0000 to $20,000 dependinging on variants. While the Average price of cars here in America is around $40,000.
When launched in swarms these are a menace in this modern battlefield.
But in this content, we will look at how this drone works, the Moped engine behind i,t, and The basic step-by-step process of how this works.
It wouldn't be fair if the pros and cons are not analyzed and how they are being tackled and how to counter the drones with old and new Weapon.

We corrected this Video link here kzread.info/dash/bejne/eoWVj7asptC_mpc.html 1) S Masoumi Not " Al Shahed" but "Shahed" "AL" in Arabic means "The", I must admit that the word Shahed has also Arab roots, so the mistake in this video is rather justified. Although here is the only instance I've seen it called Al Shahed. I apologize if I automatically assumed the mistake to be out of prejudice. 2)Eugene O'REILLY The MD 550 engine is a two stroke engine for aviation use.Its not designed for moped use.Its a flat four air cooled engine giving 50 hp at 7500rpm.Its a locally produced copy of the German Limbach engine. 3) amir ch please say Islamic republic instead of Iran. because they truly are Iranian's enemies, they do not know themselves Iranians nor the Iranian people know them, they are divided. also they are killing the people of Iran everyday with cruelty. the ones who have made this are Iranian's enemies. the organization which has made this is (Sepah Pasdaran Islamic republic) they don't even have the name of Iran in the name of the organization. Thanks for your attention .

You'll read these Americans try to run down other countries military and their hardware, (while in truth, it’s much better than their own) and today, that's across the card, they always assume so much, and they never understand what it is they're really looking at anyway. You'll read them claiming the F-22 is so much better than the Russian rubbish, LOL. Only when you ask them what they've ever seen the F-22 do, (other than flying over a beach on a KZread Video LOL) that would allow them to hold that opinion? Well, they can't answer that. LOL. And not a single one of them have any idea that neither the F-22 nor F-35 can see, track, or target any other stealth aircraft from BVR (beyond visual range). LOL. Clueless is the reality. Stealth alone defeats high-frequency (short wave) radar, by absorption and deflection, it does not defeat low-frequency (long wave) radar. So to see, track, and to target other stealth aircraft you must have long-wave radar, (but it must also be enhanced to remove all background clutter for targeting purposes). Neither the APG-77 radar used in the F-22, nor the APG-81 radar used in the F-35, can see any other stealth aircraft from BVR (without enhanced long wave radar). This fact obviously the US Air force know! Only it seems the reality is that when the F-35 radars were being designed 13 years ago, there weren't any other stealth aircraft to think about as a potential threat! So how can these US fighter aircraft really be seen or considered any sort of real threat to either Russia or China, who both have these US aircraft technically beaten today, they can see and target the US stealth jets from BVR, but the US jets can't even see them from BVR? And that's simply a hopeless situation. Russia's new "rubbish" LOL. Their (real 5th generation) Byelka (2band) radar, used in the SU-57, does have an enhanced long-wave radar, they've designed, and they've developed the first L-Band fighter radar we've ever seen. They cleverly embedded L-band AESA radars into the leading edges of the wings. The new L-band AESA radar data gets processed in real time through extremely powerful Russian computers, being significantly enhanced, and removing all background clutter, meaning it can see, track, target, and engage enemy stealth aircraft from BVR. This new technology "rubbish" LOL, along with its impressive range parameters, and it's jamming ability (over very large areas) make this aircraft deadly to all other aircraft types such rubbish LOL. They also interact in ''real-time'' with each other (auto selecting) the best placed BVR missile, that can be fired by anyone of them. They can also take full control of surface-to-air (SAM) missile defence systems - (that alone is lethal), and they can detect and track all enemy stealth fighters well before they hit Russian airspace, from much greater distances today, with "real-time" data from all the massive Russian ground (long wave stations), all protected with the networked S-400 defensive system. So, always knowing where the enemy stealth fighter aircraft are, they'll always approach them head on, stealthily, the US fighter jets would never even see them coming! Result, you're doomed! Russia's Byelka (2band) radar covers all the frequencies across all channels, used for tracking, targetting, and also for jamming over large areas. It's part of Sh121 multifunctional integrated radio electronic system (MIRES) on board the SU-57. Russia also tested this new radar suit in the SU-35's, so Russia also have the option of fitting the radar into the SU-35's, seeing the SU-35 at no disadvantage against either the F-22/35. Although the SU-35 can be seen and targeted from BVR by the US fighters, the SU-35 equipped with the 5th gen radar is just as able to see and target the US stealth fighters from BVR, seeing the all-important (Russian advantage) in BVR missile range, plus the excellent manoeuvring, neither the F-22/35 have, as more than critical if you're going to avoid simply being blown out of the sky. This new radar design has a very clear potential to provide a genuine shared multifunction aperture with applications including, search, track and destroy, missile mid-course guidance against low signature aircraft, identification of friend or foe with secondary surveillance radar. Passive angle tracking and geolocation of JTIDS-MIDS-Link-16 emitters at long ranges. Passive angle tracking and geolocation of L-band AEWC-AWACS and surface based search radars at long ranges. Passive angle tracking and geolocation of hostile (i.e. Western) IFF and SSR transponders at long ranges. High-powered active jamming of JTIDS-MIDS-Link-16 emitters. High-powered active jamming of satellite navigation receivers over large areas. High-powered active jamming of L-band AEWC-AWACS and surface based search radars at long ranges. High-powered active jamming of guided munition command data links over large areas. Effectively completely neutralising the USA's use of AWACS for their detection. The Tikhomirov NIIP L-band AESA radar is a very important strategic development, and it's a technology which once fully matured and deployed in useful numbers, will render narrowband stealth designs like the F-22 & F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, and some, if not many, UAVs, as highly vulnerable to all flanker variants equipped with such radars.

The problem in western countries is that they make weapons so damn high tech and expensive and it benefits the Military industrial complex to much.

It's because of sanctions. People in difficult situations have to find some way out. It is possible for some people to surrender and give up. But also, there are some people who never surrender and never give up. They try, they accept difficult situations, but in the end, they get out of situations while they are happy, progressed, they have become inventors, and are full of glory.

Its a gold mine for Iran but these drones suck. America pays 450k for a modern anti-air missile. These drones get shot down by Gepards and other anti-air cannons, the cheapest ones are slow they can be fired at by machine guns. US actually introduces defenses that will fry these drones alive that propably noone would pass and hit the target.

No, the standard quad-copters hacked to drop grenades on troops are the the "AK-47" of this new aerial battlefield. They have thousands and thousands of them, they're cheap and easy to rig up, and extremely effective. The drones only cost a couple thousand dollars and are totally re-usable. That means less than $100 per mission flown (just the cost of the M430A1 HEDP type grenades they drop). A single soldier can deploy one without any outside support at all - a personal weapon just like the AK. This Iranian drone is really clumsy garbage, and Iran even had to send some of their people to Crimea to help Russians get the things to function at all - they had difficulty getting them going and that delayed their usage. Their use will be very limited and it just shows how desperate Russia has become.

For the cost of one B-2 Spirit bomber, you could have 200,000 of these drones, or something like it. What could stop an attack like this? Imagine a giant cargo ship with the drones mounted in cargo containers, with forklifts pushing the empty containers overboard after they launch to make room for the containers in the middle of the ship.. It may take a day or so to launch them all.. Today, Iran is the 20th largest automaker in the world and one of the largest in Asia, with annual production of more than 1.6 million vehicles. Why is a drone more expensive or difficult to produce than a car?

The B-2 is designed for a specific job. To penetrate enemy air defences and drop a bomb of your choosing. However you make a great point here. If they can reduce the cost even further by mass production in an assembly line (less than 15k USD) Then we've got an effective artillery substitute. Imagine 10000 of these drones being launched in less than a month. 10000 warheads weighing 40 kg each without risking a single soldiers life, without the Risk of losing an expensive artillery peice and without the burden of any logistical load behind the frontlines because you can launch this from 500km behind the frontline. As of now 10000 of these drones only costs 200 million. And even if they shoot most of them down you've still won a great victory since shooting them down costs alot more than 20k.

@@belka8618 Here u r made a wrong conclusion. These drones are cheap true...but they are 'cheaper than other drones'...they aren't cheaper than artillery shells. At best they are guided loitering munitions....effective at overwhelming SAM systems by sheer numbers but not cheap enough to replace artillery. Anti-aircraft guns will be enough todestroy most of them. This is what India did in its border with pakistan after the latter used small drones to supply weapons to terrorists...Indian army modified WW2 era anti-aircraft guns and put them on border to destroy incoming drones(which were mostly quadcopters). As for B-2....it was designed to bomb Soviet Nuclear facilities...good luck trying to do same with loitering munitions like these.

Opinion and likely correction. The outer control surfaces on each wing are the aerlions where the distance from center gives them more torque for roll authority. The inner ones would be elevators used to pitch (up down) authority. Flaps are sections of wings that extend for more lift at low speed conditions like take off and landing. The video called the inner ones flaps which seems unlikely and the outer ones elevators leaving no aerilons, thus no roll control.

The claim that the germans created the siren for psychological warfare is utterly wrong. It was a welcomed bonus, but the real purpose of the siren is to aid the pilot in gauging dive speed. The pilot that engages in dive bombing needs to have his eyes on the target at all times, so he can´t be looking at the altimeter and air speed all the time. The siren achieves that for him, enabling him to keep his eyes on target, while his ears determine the proper dive speed and angle by the tone and pitch of the sound it creates. The siren was designed for this. They soon found out it also had an impact on the psyche of those under attack from Stukas, so they welcomed the bonus feature. But never say they were designed for that purpose.

Instead, Iran looks like a third world militaristic shithole. Any western county was able to create similar drones back in the 1990's and they would never pose a serious threat to a western country that takes its defences seriously. What i think they are hoping these drones will deplete Ukrainian AAA missles - so their relatively intact bomber forces can go in and be used like in Syria - I think that is their line of thinking but as we see right now this triggered supply of modern day AAA systems from the west - and those are even more capable ones to deal with bombers as well so i dont think this will go well for russians.

The most important thing is that the USA and Israel will not go unpunished in the bombing of other countries, because for cheap money such Iran, China or Russia will soon be able to carry out massive attacks and impose a fair punishment for thousands or maybe millions of their brothers murdered by Jewish and Anglo-Saxon terrorists, and that is the achievement of the New World Order and the covid which the Hasid Nateniachu wanted to defeat the enemy together with the pedophile Bidon.
