One underrated plus about Iran’s armed forces is that it’s by and large not only domestically made but rarely modelled after other existing technology. That element makes it tricky for opponents to easily know how to counter them.

Rarely modelled after other tech is a stretch, speaking of how the majority of their functional drones, helicopters, and parts of their air force are American designs. Nor are their modern developments very different from Cold War era designs.

love the the channel but remember this as far more propaganda than documentary. even ignoring USA wiped have their navy with mostly older slower jets years ago, they don't have the numbers to do much against a modern force. plus few nations already designed and tried out this design years ago. just because they didn't mass produce the design doesn't mean they iran version isn't modeled after it.

This is a very neat design for a ship! The fact that they went with the catamaran hull for a corvette is a great choice, considering the specific roles that corvettes are meant perform. (Not to mention, I personally find the catamaran hulls to be very underappreciated)

That corvette seems very weak in terms of radar and electronic systems. Compare the image of a real modern corvette with the Iranian corvette. Modern corvettes have a large turret filled with many radar and electronic systems.

Если относится к службе безответственно, никакая огневая мощь не поможет. Про атаку плавующих дронов НАТО, сообщили за 4 часа, с гражданского судна РФ. А до этого были другие атаки на наши корабли. Но никаких мер принято не было, хотя достаточно было просто пойти куда либо со скоростью 18-20 узлов. Как закономерный итог, командующий ВМФ снят с должности.

The weakened Iranian military after the 1979 revolution fought Iraqis who were armed to the teeth, backed by the entire world including US who helped with many things including intel, weapons and strategy, used all types of illegal weapons including chemicals and yet Iran won the war and the only reason they didn't completely conquer Iraq was the fact that they willingly signed a treaty. Most people don't know that when the Islamic revolution happened those maniacs executed 13000 highly sophisticated military officers from Shah's military and got rid of many military assets. I absolutely hate current Iranian regime but you need to understand that Iranians have been in war for literally 7500 years and they've fought pretty much every superpower in history from the Greeks and Romans to Egyptian and many others and won most of those wars. So you'd be a fool to underestimate them even when they're in their worst condition.
