as far as I know the UK didn't use the Storm shadow this time because there was no reason to use such an expensive missile against defenseless targets, so they used paveway bombs, which have shorter range but they're much cheaper

USS DDGs can carry over 90 Tomahawks but they never do. It is usually in the 10s to 20s depending on the mission. Majority of the missiles in the VLS are SA missiles.

One major point, hopefully West has learned is these are not tactical / typical military wars. These are ideological warfare. Hope we learn the lesson to understand that typical aerial firepower or technical superiority is not going to cut it as it did during first gulf war.

You may want to do more research. The Paveway systems of bombs come with GPS / Laser guidance. It is a matter of replacing the nose end cap guide system.

Iran uses super concrete to build bunkers Iran was struck by a bunker-buster bomb in 2001 . The bomb failed to penetrate-and remained embedded in-the surface of the bunker, Rather than smashing through the concrete, the bomb had been unexpectedly stopped dead.

Russia has variants of their Tomahawk (Calibre Missile) disguised as shipping containers. If you can fit 2-3 container modules that contains short-medium range air defense missiles as relevant support system (radar, fire control system etc. You can even go offensive by having loitering munitions in those containers. Outfit a couple of civilian ships with these containers crewed by PMCs you can deter Houthis Missile attacks relatively easily.
