it doesn't even matter, in the positions he gets with no pressure he can't hit a ball to save his life, runs the ball out of play, turns and passes backwards when others make forward runs, he's too slow and passive in everything he does. Look like bambi on ice about to fall with minimal contact. The prem isn't for him.

KDB simply had his negative Chelsea experience at younger age, and was forceful enough to get out quickly for the sake of his career. Chelsea have wasted three years of Havertz as a false #9, where KDB has played with great strikers for most of his time at City.

Honestly idk why he left his punditry job in 2016 in the first place. He was fine, getting good at it in a short time, and he was getting some good games to call and analyse. He got to work with old mates & rivals like Stevie & Rio. His pay was pretty healthy, I imagine. And BT Sport seemed happy with his performance as well. Baffling decision.

mudryk needed coaching, thats why a coach like arteta was looking at him. chelsea have never coached any young player into what they could be.

FINALLY someone says it!

People need to lay of Mudryk. I was saying his price was completely unjustified when Chelsea bought him. For his age he hardly had a good bank of games behind him for Club or Country and just seemed like a symbolic buy. He just seemed to be a media hype job. However, from watching him last night, I'm actually impressed by him. Even allowing for his missed chance not many players in the PL would have had the legs to skin AWB to get into that position to miss the chance in the first place. I reckon he's going to be a top player, just needs confidence. Put it this way, I would much rather have Mudryk at United than Sancho. Mudryk has that rare commodity in Premier League currency which put the odds in his favour of doing well in the PL, and that is he's got pace to burn. I reckon he will come good. Just needs coaching.

Honestly he’s absolutely garbage - I don’t understand why everyone rates him. Werner was better and showed more potential, he just needed to learn how to finish and stop hitting the post…

Lampard needs to go down to League 2 and learn his trade and get more experience if he wants to manage long term.

Seems as though one of the main problems with Chelsea's flood of new signings is that they now have plenty of 'fancy Dan' midfielders who may be pleasing on the eye when going forward but they aren't willing or able to graft, track back, tackle or defend. That and the fact they don't have one top quality, reliable, striker and the likes of Cucarella and Koulibaly have been very poor in defence.

Yes, say this!! It's not supermarket sweep. Massive spending isn't always or even usually the answer. Players need consistent support as well as discipline in the basics, boring or rudimentary or elementary as that may seem.

The only praise Lampard deserved was for the 19/20 season. He overcomplicated things the season after, and spent too much. Albeit, only Silva and Ziyech were signings he wanted. All the others were board signings he didn't ask for.

not the same at all, Ziyech played 600min the whole season (have the most assists/ most success dribbler), Havertz played the whole season for no reason. he still the stupidest attacker in the history of Chelsea, of course after the stupid Werner.

Chelsea have a team spirit/unity problem, simple. Something is wrong in the dressing room. Clear that out, and they can start the improvement journey. IMO, Arsenal's rise is hugely influenced by their stance on getting rid of Aubameyang.
