In theory, yes, but buying Crystal Palace would have its attractions as well from a business point of view Land in London can fetch pritty penny. But from a purley football point of view Everton is the outstanding option it has a lot going for it. I'm looking forward as a football club something you could not have sead for Everton in much of my life time I was born in 81. I would buy Liverpool F.C personally & turn it in to a feeder club for Everton, that would spice things up a bit on Merseyside, lol.

As an Everton fan , I think there is bias and Everton is a much bigger club than palace , however I think Crystal Palace is attractive , they have a good talent ID, new stadium developments, good youth system , I truly believe textor just wants full control of a club hence why Everton is a good fit.

Palace fan here and I think that's right. Textor has said that it makes more sense for him to own controlling interests in the clubs in his multi-club model. It suits what he's creating with his Eagle Football holding company, which he's aiming to take public. Remains to be seen how he'd operate it with Everton in the mix but I think it would be a *lot* better for fans than the disaster that is 777. Good luck with it. I'm very grateful to Textor and I can see the business reasons for why he's moving on. Football is a business, after all.
@eagle_rb_mmoomin_418

that's correct Parish and Textor have a fundamental difference over multi club ownership..Textor wants to vertically integrate everything. Parish is a Palace fan so he's adamantly against that. Textor only has 1/4 of the control at Palace and the other three don't want to sell to him🤷. He's quite emotional and bull headed though. Expect lots of lows and highs with his decision making. Out of all the clubs in EFH. Palace is the only 'stable one'. The one he doesn't directly run. He needs someone to act as a handbrake on him.

I love how when Chelsea had their sanctions, no one was delicate in their assessment of the situation. They made sure to always bring up Roman and his "dirty money".
