I think the ECL and seventh place will be Chelsea's best hope of visiting Europe once more next season. If they miss out Boehly can buy the squad some tickets on the Eurostar or on a ferry to reach the continent. Boehly might need to book those Eurostar tickets sharpish lest there are none available next August.

1. Do your research on the players by finding out about their strengths and weaknesses 2. Do they fit the ethos? 3.Give them a 3 year contract with the further option of 2 4. Players must be fully held to account and not just the manager. Four simple rules that I have listed so far that Roman Abramovich did in his tenure at Chelsea and that Todd Bohely is simply not doing. I have supported this club since I was 2 and never would throw it under the bus if things were not right, but it is clear thst Clearlake and Bohely are part of the American disease which continues to plague English football's ownership model. The English Premier League is no longer known as the brand as it once was, instead its the American Premier League where almost all of the clubs bar 2 are owned by American owners who prefer to steal money from the fans and lie to them and not treat the clubs that they bought with the proper respect that German fans do in the Bundesliga .

As much as i love James, he just isn't AT IT, I think Pochettino just wants this season over with, so may injuries, players that he hasn't brought in ,and too much inexperienced players, I do believe though he is the right man to turn it around, EVENTUALLY 😢😊

As you mentioned from around 55 minute every team begins to attack Chelsea, it's because these two can't run anymore. How difficult to see that. Facts don't lie. Jackson? it's better to play without striker, than have him on the pitch. Enzo and Jackson discourage the rest of the players, who lost and desire and believe. who's fault is that? Yes , 10 midfielders and no strikers

We all know what th problem is...under Boehly the scouting department was FIFA23. Buy nobody over 23. If another team were interested it proved the player was good. Place them on long contracts to subvert FFP. Aren't we clever? No. These players now cannot be sold under FFP for years. The rest of the league were laughing at you. Poch out.

Blame the owner. Crazy transfer fees, insane contracts on what? potential? I said at the start of the season if they finish in the top 8 its a win. Can't sign and sell that many players and expect to do anything. So many foreign players moving to a new country on so much money.

Well, Chelsea are definitely NOT playing in UCL next season, so I guess a points deduction similar to Everton's is incoming for Chelsea next season? Not to mention, the ongoing investigation into financial fraud during Roman's era at the club. At least, Everton are playing half-decent this season to counteract against their points deduction. Falling where? Apart from a few of seasons in the Prem, they were top 5/6 side. Not great in the 80s but the fallacy that there were always finishing 10th-15th isn’t completely true. For eg in the 60s they never finished below 6th. After the FA Cup victory in 70/71 league form started to depreciate and this impacted league standings in the 80s too.
