This is just another proof that he's a sincere person. He kisses and hugs when he sincerely feels like it, when he wants to and not because he wants to play "affection" to gain more fame as some people said. He showed his affection and she just played along. Here she was clearly looking at him in the end, checking if he's in the mood for even a formal hug and when she noticed he's not even looking at her she didn't dare to initiate it.

Valeriy is very charismatic, as well as Vasilisa. + she has the perfect body lines!
