Well. Finally got it and.....absolutely love it. Main take away, so so sturdy and natural feeling. It’s a different feel for sure than regular straight bar and I think there are added benefits in utilizing both. Second biggest thing is the overwhelming amount of diversity training you can utilize it for. Moreover, doubling up on your regular barbell exercises with neutral grip presses, skullcrushers, bent over rows, and seal rows amongst many many more. Can’t get enough. Love it. Thanks for the review as it def helped me decide.

Aaron, while I haven't tried to rack the Trap Bar HD yet to try overhead presses, in the video you grab the larger 1-1/2" handles that are in the raised position. Since the weight of the sleeves is above your hands you're going to have to use your wrist strength to balance that weight. Flip the bar around and grab the smaller handles that are in line with the sleeves and I suspect the wobbling won't be as bad since your wrist won't be trying to balance the weight above it.

This is an excellent bar. I got it in the box sealed for a significant discount on Offer Up a few months ago, so I only spent $500. For $649 plus $75 shipping? I’d have to think twice. I use it for farmers carries and DL variations mostly. The craftsmanship is amazing. I like the idea of squatting with it and will try it out, great review.

Will a trap bar work better for me since I have two buldging disk in lower back. This way I don't have to load my spine with the barbell. What about when squating, do knees pass the toe? Reason iam asking is because I also have a bad knee and I been doing landmine belt squats, db lunges without knee passing toe and this helps with pain a lot.

9.15 timestamp. Would you get that wrist wobble is you were to grip the other grip that is closer to the axis os the bar? Thanks for the video!

the rollers on the handles make for doing concentric jumps more efficient. ur hands wont get caught. u just release and explode out as u drop the bar.

What size handles did you get wide, standard or narrow. I just ordered it and got the narrow and can’t tell if that was the best option.

Haha, That’s one of the first thing I looked at when I got the handles... also for my power blocks.... unfortunately they aren’t the right size and the connectors they use (bolts) aren’t compatible

I think your press would be more stable for your wrist if you used the higher grip handle instead of the lower. Same concept as why they raise the handle a half inch.
