Just seeing that long un-level ankle pad - is major cringe for me, knowing that my left quad will be doing more work than my right quad. I've been to many different gyms/health clubs and believe it or not - even some Leg Extension machines that are $3,500 dollars have the same problem. For this machine: I think that "IF" that Main Up Square Tube was solid and the two Down Square Tubes were solid - that there would be LESS wobble and or "play" . I think that the Titan Fitness Leg Extension is slightly better with slightly less wobble in that ankle pad, but there's really no way to know unless you buy it and try it out.

The main point is that it is really good idea but: - handle the dumbbells is uncomfortable (too thick and sometimes too narrow) - those hooks are made not of steel but of something that is unbendable. If you traying to bend it it is breaking! And if you throw it with the dumbbell on the ground it may brake just because of the material that it is made of.

Is the “blackout” purely aesthetic? Or is there some other benefit, more rust resistance perhaps?

Great video! I've got a 3 x 3 rack with no holes on the side of the tubing (only back and front) and have been wanting to purchase this along with the Titan X3 Arms. You touched on the side pin there towards the end of your video, would you say that side pin is necessary to secure the arms or would I be able to get away without using it? Thanks

Very helpull review mate. I have developed severe hip arthritis and as such have terrible pain in my hips when picking up and putting down dumbbellsfrom the floor while seated on a bench. I was looking to these as a solution, from your review it seems to be a fine solution. On the plus side I never concidered them for shoulder pressing and pullovers, and the pull up trick looks fantastic, a little more movemet that a fixed bar but adding to the stabalising muscles getting a workout. Many thanks mate. Cheers.
