Major media here in the US are making a big deal of the recent100F plus temperatures in Phoenix AZ. Of course, they blame it on climate change. Fact is Phoenix has always had 100F plus temperatures during the summer. When I was 18 and lifeguarding at a public pool in the Phoenix area, it was 117F the entire week. So the panic talk by the lame stream media of 110F going on now is ridiculous.

They are also against hydrogen energy which I can make in my back yard to power my car (with modified injectors). It exhausts HO2, water. Japan is producing hydrogen run cars. Japan also used Ivermectin to combat covid very effectively. So, you do not have to plug in for hours using electricity 85% produced from coal. Oh, and China owns 80% of global pollution.

He's talking nonesense. There is enough capacity in the national grid even if everyone transitioned to using electric cars. In fact, right now the percentage of the capacity we're using is well below that of a few decades ago. And the more people have solar panels and wind turbines on their houses, the more that's gonna reduce as well. Furthermore the vast majority of electric cars get charged overnight when nobody is using electricity anyway, so it's really not going to be a burden on the grid at all. I don't know what nonesense he was saying about digging up transformers in back gardens. Finally, you can quite comfortably power every country in Europe with about a thousand square miles of solar panels in the Sahara desert. So I don't know the nonesense he was talking about running out of renewable energy. It's just not true. What kind of physicist is he? He must have got some significant investment in the fossil fuel industries

What they do is say “since records began” which only goes back generally to the 1800s where global average temps could start to be recorded so it’s a massive play on words to fit their narrative.

I wish Brian had asked the toe rag what papers he has ever published.

This has to be one of the biggest, most awesome, slap-down arguments of the climate change narrative I think I have ever seen! Utter balderdash. Brian Catt is not an expert on climate change. He is not trained as a climate scientist and has never had a scientific paper about the issue published in a scientific journal. He has an upper second class Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. It also indicates he is a Chartered Engineer and a Chartered Physicist (which is awarded by the Institute of Physics, an organisation that accepts the overwhelming evidence for anthropogenic climate change), but his CV does not list any formal experience or qualifications in climate science since he started his career in 1965. What Catt lacks in credentials he tries to make up for with strong opinions about climate change, a combination that apparently makes him an ideal interviewee for GB News and Talk TV.

Scientist: Here are the facts and statistics. Activists: But my mom disagress with you.

Sean suggests we should 'pull out' from these deals. I bet his dad wished he had done the same.

If polled I suspect they all support unlimited immigration. No matter what country (1). Which logically increases the total energy usage. Plus puts extra strain on the water and waste services. He debates with a very young man, who has no qualifications, doesn’t have a job, and makes random unsubstantiated claims, but they get equal billing. Stupidity personified!

Bare in mind most of what you hear is from MSM reporting on global elites who have paid a group of Scientists make a report. These reports are never the same except for the fact we always have 5 to 10 years "left". There ate many Scientists whom haven't sold themselves and when they want to report, they get silenced. For example I bet you didn't know the Polar ice caps are growing not shrinking. Growing in the West, shrinking in the East but a net growth over all as the growth is bigger than the loss. Discovered recently but the elites don't seem keen to make it public knowledge. Had it have been shrinking, front page news everywhere for weeks, I'm sure. Place where temperatures are recorded (which is used to build computer models) are cherry picked. Some places on Earth are heating, others are cooling. Guess which are used. A scientist recently published his 20 years work recording temperatures across the globe using satellite. This meant he recorded everything, not just the parts he thought would yield the results he wanted. He found the Earth is warming up on the whole, but not at the rates we are being told they are. He published the work on his website and the website was blocked on Google for inaccurate climate science. 20 years. Satellites. Inaccurate lol. Anyway I'm rambling now, it's late and if my grammar is a mess I apologise but you should look this stuff up rather than just being told "Scientists say..."

Did the UN say climate emergency is real. I've watched the UN deal with emergencies for decades. The very reports he quoted don't say nuclear is the cheapest, neither do ANY levelised cost of energy report. They infact say it's one of the most expensive. The same reports say renewables are the cheapest and even with storage many well he the cheapest on 10 years. There is a reason renewable growth is explosively exponential and nuclear has had no growth for decades.

To be fair, that last point about questioning the scientist is wrong. Just because someone is a scientist it doesn't prevent them from being questioned. If I said something controversial or questionable in my field, I'd want someone to ask me to justify myself, fellow scientist or not. Don't take everything you hear at face value.

Quite. A fifty year old qualification is far less relevant than how the graduate spent the fifty years hence. This fellow remained within his chosen field and has undoubtedly discovered and achieved far more in that time than he did during his initial student years.

You also neglect to mention that those periods when CO2 was higher and the earth warmer, the sea level was about 5m higher than today. A 5m rise in sea level would be beyond catastrophic for the modern world.
