They are wasting their lives on a cause that is impossible to achieve because of Earths natural occurring rising Methane lv’s which have increased massively and have a lot more of a effect on the climate than CO2, it comes from increasingly fertile swamplands so you can’t get rid of it. They could cut all the CO2 from man and it would have very little effect, the climate is still going to change it’s just part of the Milankovitch cycles. They would be better off raising money or protesting for coastal defence budgets and things like that because the sea will rise more and more over time.

What? The amount of arable land taken out of production by windmills is negligable. Just in case you don't know, it's just the foundation that really takes away land, not the shadow, you still can grow crops around a windmill. And that's almost nothing compared to the energy you can produce this way. So stop telling such nonsense.

@@frankyboy1131 Windmills are killing of wildlife, they need helicopters and vehicles which use fuel, when being repaired and maintained, are not biodegradable, and have an average lifespan of less than a decade. They require a lot of resources to produce, transport, repair and maintain. You need to acquire some critical thinking skills. I live right by a "wind-farm". I have lived here three years, and have never been in poorer health, than since I have lived in proximity to this.

Lots of windmills here dotted around in Cornwall Devon borders, they don't provide my electricity or much for anyone, the local village and hamlet don't benefit from the turbine ? In fact, we don't get much for our money here, the council tax is one of the dearest, yet we don't see the police (grateful for that!), dont get much in services, need a car no buses, local shops, post office etc, 10 mile round trip, better shopping 30 mile round trip, potholed roads, no dentists, no street lighting, no road sweepers. The water bill is very expensive and they've been fined for polluting? Yet our waste goes in a septic tank and it's taken off for treatment which we pay £150 -200 for annually? All we get is an old pipe with some water in it. The drainage is private too, being the ditch road runaway? drains into the field and I have to maintain it. That being said nice starry skies, bleat of Sheep, no ASBO neighbours and PEACE !

Offshore wind farms interfere with sea life too, so many dolphins, whales and seals etc getting trapped between noisy shipping lanes, off course, beached? Causing so much disruption to the general population is only going to end one way, their message will be lost as people will get so fed up with having their daily lives disrupted. 7-8 years to change everything is just absurd. We all want to do something to protect our planet but to go about it this way is going to have the completely opposite effect. Protestors will end up getting hurt as more and more people get fed up with their lives being disrupted. Everyone has the right to protest but not at the expense of people’s livelihoods, emergency services unable to reach a critically ill person because someone’s superglued themselves to the road, ruining a theatrical production that people have spent a lot of their hard earned money on to see. All they are succeeding in doing is turning the majority of the population against them and in turn losing the whole purpose of why they are protesting in the first place. We have to look at how we can make the planet more sustainable but do it in a way where people will listen not acts of destruction or disruption. We have seen this type of protesting since Nuclear weapons have been produced, nothing has changed and the same protestors are still doing the same things today, has it changed anything absolutely not, will we continue to protect the country of course we will no amount of protesting will change that. Just Stop Oil are no different, change your tactics, don’t cause disruption to the everyday folk and people might start listening, carry on as you are and nothing will change

Letby and the two murdering nurses we found out about yesterday were wokists too. Furthermore the same thing has happened with this latest 2 in that their fellow wokists in the ward forced the good doctors and nurses who named them as killers to apologise were the murderers fellow virtue signallers.
