F-35 have flown in airspace contested by S-400 systems for a long time already. One of the reasons for the decision is to prevent extensive data collection that would be a result of a country having both systems, and the potential risk of this data being shared with Russia.

It does not work like that, not with previous AA systems and aircraft, and not with current AA systems and aircraft. That said, it's no secret that both S-300 and S-400 systems have been deployed in Syria for years, and even if the S-400 radar systems covers all of Israel, none of the systems could prevent Israeli F-35 from flying over Damascus. At the same time both US F-35 and F-22 have operated in Syria, although an actual angagement against US aircraft by Russian S-400 would have been less likely.

What you failed to understand is that Israel and Russia have a military agreement over Syria. Russian military are even covering up IDF special operatives inside Syria.

@@alberthenriette8976 true ... plus the s-300 is actually operating in Syria not the s-400 .. and it's being run by Russians .. so as long as no Russian interests are threatened in Syria by the US or Israel they don't give a fuck ... for example they avoided getting involved when the US launched cruise missile attack on a Syrian airbase in 2017

S-400 Is a best anti air threats, umbrella you can get today. And that is not just russian media claims, but Swedish SIPRI confirms that. Plus if you have NEBO-m radars all up to hypersonic missiles can be angaged. Basicly Russia can sleep calm ,because S-400 are in protection.

@@alexpaglinawan4297 Not true. The S-400 can at best detect the F-35 with low frequency radar, but not track it very well. It's more like knowing there is something there, without actually seing it. This is because the surfaces of the F-35 is to small to absorb or deflect these radars. However, to be able to shoot it down they need to achieve weapons grade track, a different thing all together. For this they would need to use high frequency radars, like on the X-band, and this is the type of frequencies the F-35 is built to deal with. The F-35 have flown in airspace contested by S-400 systems in Syria for a long time already.

The Russians also developed the more Advanced UHF (Ultra High Frequency) Phase Array Radar system mobile and Can Detect even Very Stealth TARGETS and UAV even as low as 50 metres altitude. The Radar Can be deployed within minutes with the S-400 & S-500 Anti Aircraft, Cruise, Balistic missiles and Drones UAV.

They all got shot down. Mainly by S-200 and S-300 systems. Syria then didn't have the S-400. That one entered service thanks to Israel when killing innocent people.

All 59 missiles hit their intended targets at a Chemical weapons base without interference. Syrian and Russian air defences launched 40 intercepting surface to air missiles but failed to hit any of the targets. Even France says none of the 12 missiles they fired were intercepted. Most of them were shot down, and rest fall down due to interference to GPS satelites from Russians. Few days before the attack, all the air control service of the countries arround syria, had sent NOTAM to the air companies for "missfactions on GPS"

S400s Might not be very good..after all new Buk and Pantsir syetems get hit with so much ease using stealthy drones as was exhibited by Turkey and Israel.

israel hit one pantsir s ( while it was reloading ) ,and then they tryed to create a new fake video of pantsir-s destruction ,by cuting and putting togather varios pieces of video taken by drones. if isreael could destroy such powerfull toys with so much ease....it wouldn't be israel any more ( it wouls become a serious country )

@@themilosgrozni237 These Systems were hit several times..by two different Countries...and other pieces that were destroyed include Buk and Tor...SAM are always at a disadvantage when trying to defend against something that's hovering from above In stealth mode....These new silent drones are virtually invisible to all radar bands..that's why the newest SA22 got hit again and again..

@@themilosgrozni237 This institute does not own a mule, horse or Arse...SA22s have been destroyed while actively scanning the skies..and these are what Russia uses to defend s400..which means we can Destroy them too with ease considering the level of advanced Stealthy drones used by NATO. Notice how the drones sat in the area for several minutes without the greyhound systems seeing anything..SMART COUNTRIES THAT WERE INITIALLY INTERESTED IN PURCHASING THESE SHOULD AVOID BUYING THEM SINCE THEY WILL BE SITTING DUCKS IN A HOT WARZONE.

@@evonrn2000 you are just a very sad person...but if that's what you want to believe...go ahead. keep in mind however that : 1) the only source for "destruction of S-300/400 ,tor, and buk...ARE YOU PERSONALY....THERE'S NOBODY SERIOUS CLAIMING THAT 2) ALL RADARS ( american ones espetially ) are vulnerabille on small drones and some cruise missiles due to their small size and large use of composite/non metalic materials ( american PATRIOT SAM have demonstrated over and over that it's uncapabille of defending against such treaths...latest examples are from 2018/2019 when PATRIOT couldn't defend saudi oil fields ). however radioengeners are awear of this and they are working for some time to modernize radars and EW to deal with such targets. 3) seams to me that nobody is backing out of from buying russian weapons...new deals are being signed throuout 2018,2019 and 2020...S-400s and SU-35, are saling like hot cookies. 3+) UNITED STATES are forced to go full collonialist and sanction half of the world just for exercising their right of buying weapons wrom russia. US leterarly have to sanction half of the world....and it's still not working. india will keep buying large amounts of russian weapons and that's ok....but even egypt and algeria don't give a fuck about US warnings of sanctions. and this speak volumes about where the world is headed....and also speaks that ypur story is just whisfull thinking

The S400 seems to be not that great. Israeli F35’s have flown multiple missions over Syrian airspace and not being track or even detected. So it’s either average at best or the F35 is a superior asset.

Израиль наносит удары не входя в зоны ответственности РФ в Сирии, чаще отстреливаются из нейтральных воздушных пространств. Сбить эти F-35 нет проблем. Просто Сирия не хочет воевать на 2 фронта. После того как Израиль подло прикрылся российским самолётом от старой системы ПВО, нарушая все договоренности - Россия передала Сирии С-300 и помогает с наводкой через С-400, решение на сбивание принимает исключительно Сирия. Так же по договору с США - РФ многократно ослабила дальность действия своих систем - иначе бы ни один самолёт США не мог бы летать в Сирии, ибо был бы на мушке в любой точке Сирии. Наглядный пример "Карибский кризис" U-2 не сбивали ибо тупо не было приказа. Потом один сбили, ибо оператор самовольно без приказа решил уничтожить цель.
