Junkyard Haul of CLEAN Parts for the Civic Project!

Фильм және анимация

The Honda Civic Project continues with some VERY budget friendly parts from the Junkyard! These interior bits are a big step forward in returning the Civic to a CLEAN ride.
Junkyards are one of the best places to find parts for common older cars like my Civic. Often times, you can find lightly used or near mint parts if you take the time to look and wipe the dust off! In this video I scored some near mint interior plastics and most importantly a new back seat to rid me of the dog smell my civic came with!
First thing to do was to clean the filthy interior parts and restore them to my OCD likings. Detailing interior plastics is pretty straightforward, but cleaning the stains of the rear seat was a little work. I pulled out the steamer to help clean the car seat as well as removed the old window tint from my rear window. Most of the methods I used in this video were the same for my Civic Interior Detailing video! So make sure to watch that if you haven't! I remove and install the interior plastics including the glovebox and shift boot.
As you know, I planning lots of modifications to the Honda Civic in the future, but I also like the idea of making Junkyard videos! Being able to find clean parts for $42 bucks is more than worth it to me and I'm sure I'll make more junyard videos in the future for the Civic project car!
Here's the links to the cool things I used in this video!

Everything no matter how small the detail is necessary. Build it and love it. I need to go to the junkyard and get parts as well. I have gray interior and want to swap it all for black. At the end of the day, it's what your happy with. Good stuff man, I'll subscribe. Damn bro, $42 that's a steal. What I do is just get a warranty on it and take your old part back for a refund saying it wasn't what you wanted. They'll never notice. Gotta build on a budget.

Yeah i agree with previous comments Junk yard picking videos get mad views especially if you’re looking for civic parts all Honda boys like to see what other junkyards have also you could even make it a whole video by itself.

You should think about the AWD kit that you can get for civics...think about it...it would give you mad content for you channel and would be a good build

I have 97 Civic. Where can I find the metal frame that comes off with the factory shifter boot? I've looked everywhere from e-bay to Amazon and can't locate one. The junkyards around here don't carry imports and I'm about out options on finding one. Small things like that bracket might be minor for some to deal with but it drives me nuts, it's the only piece missing from my console.
