ABOUT US:
Welcome to our crazy life. We took a leap of faith in 2020, and uprooted our two horse-crazy girls from their life in the city and traded it in for life on a farm. We now live on a hobby farm in Ontario (Canada) with our horses, goats, chickens, peafowl, guinea fowl, ducks, bunnies, a livestock guardian dog and house dogs. Follow our horse journey and life on the farm as we vlog our daily lives with our animals.

The weather is nice, but we in BC didn't get the snow pack we really needed. Now we have a severe hay shortage (I've been having to feed hay cubes all winter because there simply is no hay to be bought). So while I do enjoy parts of the nice weather I'm worried about this year's hay crop and hoping our Province isn't on fire again this year. I always love your videos, they're fun to watch and your relationship with your animals is awesome. Keep on doing what you do, it's pretty darn great. :)

Thank you so much 🥰. Yes, I have been worrying about what the mild winter will mean for crops, hay, and forest fires as well. I love the mild winter weather, but it is terrifying to think of the environmental impacts that are causing these unusual temperatures. There are definitely some scary consequences we might be facing this summer as a result of it. I can’t imagine the stress you must be feeling, not being able to find enough hay.

Kate, I like your regular words of praise to your horse. Your confident and fluid way of riding is wonderful. Seeing goats is fine for me if it doesn't totally eliminate the horses. Thanks ladies.
