Steve Perry and Journey: proof that God loves us! Those early Journey years have a sweetness I can't explain. The more I listen, the more appreciate Greg Rollie; he musically supports, both with his keyboards as well as vocally, without taking over. Timeless music.

I was so lucky to have seen Journey with Steve Perry in concert. I didn't know who they were. I could not believe what I was thinking. I knew they would make it big. I was so taken in by this unbelievable new band. Saw them in South Florida.

This was the first Journey song I ever heard, floating from the speakers of a closed club on a hot summer day. I went in and found out who the band was. And years later still a lifelong fan. Jrny+Perry, always💗💗💗

I've always thought this KBFH studio version should have been the version they released on the album. The thing I appreciate about this track is that this is Steve Perry with entirely dry vocals. It's really hard to hear how great a singer is without hearing their dry vocals. Studio dressed vocals are great, but they can sometimes disguise how great a singer really is.
