    I believe Rollie wrote this song, the version with him singing this song is awful. Sounds like a group of teenagers having a jam session in mom's garage.. Steve Perry obviously reworked the music to compliment the song/story and it is just awesome 😍

    as far as voice goes Nat King Cole is superior, , Aaron neville of Neville Brothers blows past him and Bruce Springsteen voice and musical chops & writing skills light years ahead ' won't even mention Nick Cave or Johnny Cash etc .

The Late Great Nat King Cole is definitely worthy of comparison.Dont know who Nick cave is ,I guess I will have to check him out but, I am pretty much 100% sure he is not as good as Perry.     One of the best 80s concerts ever. No enhancements, no lip syncing, no dubbing/mixing. Just sheer, God given talent. Arnel is good, but NOBODY can touch Perry. His vocal range.......🙆 Unreal the notes he used to hit. My generation was spoiled. This doesn't exist anymore.🤩🎶🎤

    Ran 4 miserable blocks in the rain to get to my car before the parking ticket appears, can’t get not one breath into my lungs.. turned on the car and blasting out of the speakers I hear WHEEL IN THE SKY KEEPS ON TURNINNN and I remember why I do it.     Truly a once-in-a-generation person with a god-sent voice. Steve Perry was the person who made the power ballad give the heart-felt feeling they had. He truly was The Voice.

    Saw them 3 times! Twice with Steve Perry- 1980 evolution tour and 1982- where he is wearing the famed yellow leopard shirt- l am lucky to have been a teenager when the golden voice was in this iconic band- don't stop believing came out the year l graduated high school 1981! ❤ Boomers music rocks

    Musicians back then were cut from a different cloth I don't know what's going on with current musicians today but more and more I find myself only listening to The bands of old.

    Journey is no doubt one of the best bands ever! 😜 I saw them in 78' I was in eleventh grade, I miss the 70's and 80's....

    would be pretty cool. I do still like Journey of today, can never replace Steve Perry but Arnel does pretty good. Saw them in concert about a year ago and it was really good.

    I'm a 57 yr old women & yes I listen to Journey. The music today can't compare to this music. Steve Perry love him& Noone can do Journey like he did. Love him.
